I find this attack on the staff shocking, surely you dont expect to be given the red carpet as soon as you enter the pub. From my experience, if you are nice and patient you will be treated the same. and no i havent been bribed into writting this...

The decor in this place is amazing but sadly the comments about staff rudery are all true. Bar staff seem to make a point of ignoring punters they don't know personally and service, when it finally comes, is with a scowl. Grow up, people! The roast is generous but for £13 you could get a meal in legendary gastro pub The Eagle, where a welcome comes at no extra charge. Avoid.

i've been here twice for food (which is bloody great) and have been once for a gig down in the little cave below (the atmosphere rocked)

i'm going back again and again and am telling everyone about it

the staff were lovely (and just a little bit hot too)

I was told that the slaughtered lamb are re launching the sunday roast. I thought i'd investigate as i has a roast here last year which was very good. A new team this year. The chef "serjan" and his very happy and friendly waitress "maleece" were very welcoming but lets get down to business. £13.00 Roast lamb with all the trimmings was better than last year. I would highly recommend it. Everything cooked to perfection. I had a glass of a portuguese red wine "alandra" to wash it down. Dessert which is included is a home made apple crumble with custard and/or vanilla ice cream. Well done slaughtered lamb. Keep it up

Went to the pub's basement for a live music session, Which apparently goes on five nights a week. Brilliant atmosphere. Perfect venue to enjoy a bottle of wine and to really relax. My wife and i both had.......fish finger sandwiches which to be honest, i didn't think i'd enjoy as much as i did.

I would definately return

Just had my 30th birthday party at The Slaughtered Lamb

Excellent venue which i strongly recommend.

The general manager was really nice and after explaining a few things, He pretty much let us get on with partying

Would like to say thanks again. And i shall be returning
