Great food, regretfully however my comments reflect the previous, shame about the service. Not only lack of but the rudness too. Any business should value all comments both positive or negative. In short, 10/10 to the chef, -10/10 to the aggresive rude waitress who refuses to hear comments about her lack of service.

I have been to the Farm a few times recently and have enjoyed both the atomosphere in the bar area and the lovely hiden dining room out the back. The staff have been friendly and the food was superb. The burgers in the bar are the best in the area and the alacarte menu has a great selection of fabulous fish and meat. I would highly recommend the Farm to any one in SW6 as the best food in the area

I was there last night for a valentine's Day dinner, with a set menu. I have to say the food was simply FABULOUS! Apparently they have a new chef (I asked), maybe that's the trick, I can't be sure, as this was my first time at The Farm.
The atmosphere in the restaurant, at the back was very romantic and the service was superb. The only bad thing was that the food took a while to arrive (it was a 5-course menu, and it took forever between each course). Other than that, aperfect evening. Definitely plan to go back.

I have just eaten a late lunch at The Farm with my husband and another couple. I warned my friends that the last time that we ate there about 8 months ago that the service was terrible but the food was great. I felt that was a good enough reason to go back.
I was very wrong.
I was shocked and amazed by the rudeness and attitude of the waitress when we complained about the lack of service. We are informed by the waitress that if we wanted table service then we should have dined in the restaurant. Fair enough....yet she failed to tell us this until we were trying to pay....
We waited 20 minutes to be bought a wine list, 40 minutes to order and then when the food arrived and had been eaten, we then sat for 45 minutes with empty plates and empty glasses.
I am completely lost for words - not only did the service lack everything that is expected in central london (with the prices to match) - but when we wanted to speak to someone about the service - we were barked at by the waitress.
Customer services was obviously something that The Farm have never heard of. What a great shame as the food was good and there is great potential.
But as a result of todays service, I will never eat there again and I never recommend it to any of my friends or clients. I live and work in SW6.

Had a fabulous afternoon by the fire on sunday. Great roast in front of the fire, just what the doctor ordered. Staff were warm and friendly. Would definately go back.

oh dear oh dear oh dear. I quite liked the lounge feel of this backstreet bar with reasturant at the rear. A good bar menu eg a well cooked burger with a pint at the bar was fine or even a reasonable cocktail if the mood took you. Tried the reasturant once and was reasonably satisfied in spite of the bad (no scratch that, earnest) piano playing loloping through the ground floor. Last night, however, killed it. At first, taking a seat at the bar, I wondered why the pleasant barman looked so terrified when he took my drinks order. I didn't have to wait long to find out. I assume that the stressed out....erm..GIT, yes GIT that's the word, who was terrorising the staff was running the place. terrorising the staff is one thing (it really is very fashionable you know) but doing it to the punters is another matter. Reading the menu my partner asked for a bellini we were told that they had no peach but archers was avaliable. Politly declining the offer a watermelon cocktail was asked for. What turned up was a few slices of honeydew crushed up in a glass and some vodka thrown over it. When not drunk he asked if she liked it once again, politly, she said that it was not to her liking. She then ordered another from the menu. Git came back and said "you know what? we don't have any of the ingredients I will make you a nice drink" He then turned his palms up and said "suppliers" and "Wednesday" someone in the industry might want to help me with a translation as to what that actually means. I asked what it would be and was ignored, I asked louder but again was ignored as whilst crushing some limes into a glass he was busy badmouthing another guy at he bar who actually asked for....wait for it... a cask ale (the bastard). The amazing thing is that they sell it (well the pumps are there perhaps that's only served on second Tuesdays of every month) This place will be a run down shathole within two months if this continues. I look forward to seeing what it will turn into next after it closes.

Dreadful place. Dull, clinical atmosphere, poorly-trained, inefficient staff, extremely slow service, cold, over-priced food and extortionately priced bar. I have come here several times, simply because it is a local work haunt, but I am sick to death of the dreadful service and surly staff. Avoid this place like the plague.

Staff were lovely but food took ages to arrive - admitedly there were 12 of us but it was a Tuesday and the restaurant was not full, (not that it should be an excuse anyway). When the food did arrive it was all literally luke warm, we complained and they offered to recook it all but having waited for nearly an hour we decided to eat it anyway but asked for money off. We were given 25% off our food bill, but as there is a 50% off deal that night (which we couldn't book as there was more than eight of us) I think that we should have been offered that really.
The food although nowhere near hot enough tasted excellent and with the 50% off deal would represent excellent value. (Without it its about £17 for a steak and about £15 for the other mains). I would recommend eating here despite the quibbles and would go back.
The setting itself is lovely, it's in a room at the back of the pub, but the pub itself is very modern and the restaurant feels like any other good establishment in London and is very pretty with fairy lights etc - certainly not like eating in a traditional pub.

Ate here on Saturday, Feb 17th as a party of 4. Really enjoyed the atompshpere and food was delicious...However, we waited (at our table) for 25 minutes for our first cocktail. Service, while friendly, was quite inept.
