I went with a large group to Tazu for a feast of a meal - even with wine, it cost less than £20 per head. Delicious, good value food. Staff were friendly too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic decor, scrumptious food - possibly the best green Thai curry i've had here in the UK. Service and staff are unhurried, friendly and go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food, attentive service and staggering portions. Only complaint? More varieties of steamed bun please!

My wife and myself have now eaten at Ta zu on a number of occasions since it opened last year. Each time we have had a fantastic meal. The service has always been excellent and the food is simply the best Chinese we have ever tasted in the UK. The decor is great also.

Unimpressed, i'm afraid. We went early on a weekday night, and were one of only two couples in there. The service was unaccountably slow, and when we asked if things could be hurried along a bit, as we had to be somewhere else, were told that the chef had gone out and we'd have to wait! They managed to give us the wrong food: after swearing blind that what was in front of me was what I'd ordered, I bit into it to find it was chicken (I don't eat meat), and then they realised they'd given us the other couple's food. As for the actual food: the dim sum was fantastic, my vegetable dish unutterably bland, and my partner's duck "mediocre and a bit weird". So – variable.
