I used to live around the corner and ate here all the time. Having moved out of the area, I returned here for the first time in two years for my birthday last week - there were 16 of us in total, which I thought would be a problem given the size of the place, but the friendly manager said it wouldn’t be a problem.

So, the food. In all my previous trips, I’d never tried the starters – mistake. The calamari is excellent, and I’m informed the prawns were great too. The (massive) pizzas are some of the best around and remind me why I never went to the numerous chain pizza places in noting hill – thin, crisp base, great topping. Some of my friends opted for the non-pizza dishes and were very complimentary about the quality and size of the portions.

Oh and I must mention the staff - they're so friendly and make you feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant may not be the nicest to look at, but it's great value and the atmosphere is perfect.

We went for dinner on a busy Saturday night, without reservation. The staff greeted us and gave us a table in 3 minutes.

Our pizza - a magnificent meter long one - was the best Italian example I had in ages. And bear in mind I am Italian!

The homemade tiramisu was just amazing.... Presicely what needed after the pizza.

Recommended for a fun night with friends as the place was quite crowded and busy.

I went there for the second time over the weekend and it was great again. The food was even better (I think they hve a new pizzaiolo) and the serv ice was still attentive and cheerful. I reeally like the decor, and the bar is a fun place to hang out.

I came to this restaurant for a lunch meal with a friend. We took a seat outside to enjoy the sunshine.

I found the food delicious, I particularly loved the Parmegiana starter and the Spaghetti with vongole as main course was amazing, simple and tasty.

The price was affordable and, in my opinion, the service was pleasant.

I wil come back again.

I've also lived in Italy and this place only reminds me of Italy because the people running it are Italian. In terms of standard of service I do not like this place. I think this is largely because of the managers style which is not that attentitive.

The food is good. The pizza is quality. The rest is okay.

I lived in Italy for years, and this place always makes me think back to there - which is a good sign. The food is - hallelujah - actually properly Italian and whilst the waiters are rushed, they do their best with what is often an understandably packed place. Best of all are the pizzas. I went ther ewith my my parents and sister, who all lived in Italy, and we shared a 'pizzametro' which was perfect (especially as my mother doesn't eat red meat like the resot of us). I have recommended the place - and others in the same group whichi I understand are all around London - to my friends and have heard good things from them too.

Man this place sucks overall. It's quite trendy and the pizza is tasty but...the staff are rubbish and not happy and it shows. lacks organisation, And it seems that you are intruding for being there.

But hey, it's noisy, loud, a bit crazy and so some people might describe this as authentic.

I would suggest going for a laugh so that you can experience bad dining as it's best.

we had a really nice and tasty dinner last night!

nice place to eat, nothing to say about ... service is ok, waiters are friendly and nice, portions are rich and really well cooked and served.

Ambience is similar to some Osterie in Tuscany ,with italian music going on

I would suggest everyone who loves italian cousine to go there!
