I went to this estabblishment with my daughter last week. Not necessarily planning on eating from the the lunchtime menu, which advertised two courses for £6.95 offer finishing at 3.00pm. No problem, I thought, if we decided to have this as it was just after half past two.

However, the waitress thought differently she put menus on the table and came back within a minute or two to ask if we were ready to order. I ordered beer and sparkling water, she returned with beer and still water. When I asked, before the bottle was opened, if I could have sparkling water she did change it and reminded us that the time was twenty to three and the lunchtime menu finished then.

Not wishing to disappoint my daughter I overlooked this impatience bordering on rudeness. We ordered two courses each from the lunch menu.

The starters one hot and sour soup and one shredded chicken in pastry (very small portion) arrived quickly and the food was extremely good. But much to my dismay before we had finished the starters they came along and plonked our main courses upon the table. Again the food was quite good but the atmosphere was spoiled by their rudeness.

The final straw was being prosented with the bill before it was requested, we were not asked if we wanted anything else nor if we were happy with the food.

Food was good but I won't be going back there again.
