Ebury Wine Bar

Very good food if you find yourself near Victoria/Pimlico, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. I think there are quite a few places serving up food to this level, but at a bit of a lower price and in a setting that is not quite so dated. Seems to be more of a middle-aged hang out for people who want a quiet night out with good food.

I had a great experience a few nights ago.
The staff are friendly and welcoming - especially the jovial Scottish-sounding barman. Service is timely and attentive always. The food is of good quality and is often much better than that and there is a really good selection of wines, all well kept.
The decor is a bit dated - and the layout in the restaurant part not always ideal for larger groups. I would recommend this as a fun place to go that's just off the beaten track.

I love this place and have been coming for years. Great atmoshere and good food. But disappointed they have introduced a set Christmas menu which seems to include the usual menu but at a 50% premium. So unless you like getting ripped off avoid in December.

Had an excellent quick snack supper there last night. Busy and buzzy, nice staff and good food, efficiently served. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it, and the price was perfectly reasonable. Good to see a place thriving after all these years, well done.

Agree the service is a little slow, but had a nice little meal here last night - olives to nibble on then leek risotto with a perfect poached egg. The risotto was slightly underseasoned but tasty once I'd added salt. My friend enjoyed the bangers and mash, and we shared an excellent and good value bottle of chilean pinot noir. It was a little pricey at £55 but, hell, this is Pimlico after all. And the bar was so cosy and sweet that I could have stayed there all night.
