I just tried the new Eco in Chiswick High Road.... same atmosphere,
nice pizzas and great food (pastas, big salads...) than Clapham Common with a posh touch (finally wine glasses!!!). Staff is friendly like usual, fresh and smily. the environment cool and stylish, same designer than our old Ecos in the south probably... Hope they'll get busier because i love this place!

More importantly, if you live out west, there's a new Eco restaurant in Chiswick! We have eaten there twice (we're starved of decent pizza in Chiswick) and I'm happy to report that the pizzas are every bit as good here as they are at the Clapham restaurant.
While there, we ran into another ex South London couple and they agreed that Eco Chiswick is a great event - they really do the best pizze in London.
Any down side? Well, it has the same crazy bent plywood interior, so it can get really noisy as there seem to be more young families in Chiswick than in Clapham... And as they've only been open a week or so, service is a little chaotic and slow, but they're getting better.

If you love pizza this is the place to eat. The food is great and reasonably priced.
The staff however are a bit slow and not very attentive. It's right in the heart of Clapham's busy high street, and a constant flow of people in and out.
Dont let the staff put you off, as the food is great.

Really good food, however service does slightly bring the whole restaurant down,
This hasn't put me off at all though.
Always check your bill as they tend to be a bit sneaky.
If your bill says there were 6 people at the table this is so they can add service charge.
If you are under 6, it is optional.
Just be aware! They quite often put a more expensive drink on the bill etc...
Don't let this put you off though... it still is great food and a nice atmosphere.

eco...ooooo do they understand food!! super tasty and have kept me a dedicated fan for years, (something to be said for that). casual and upbeat atmosphere i'm at home and happy here. salads are a feast as are the mussels and the steaks and the sandwiches all a plus to pizza's that have yet to be conquered.

Been going here for years. Love the pizzas - best pizzas I've had in London - huge, good quality ingrediants and nice thin bases. Atmosphere is lively - great for groups or nervous first date!

The service was very disappointing, and far inferior to the delicious food. We were served drinks, starters and mains within less than an hour and it was clear they wanted us to vacate the table for waiting guests. I don't appreciate being rushed on a saturday night and will not be returning!

Best pizza in London - and I'm not joking! The biggest variety of topping I've ever found in London. Thin crisp bases, as they should be. Lots of vegetarian options. All pizza's are 12" so make sure you are hungry. I've never had a bad experience either through staff or food and can't recommend this pizzeria highly enough. And what's more its cheaper than almost any pizzeria I've encountered. Great place for a birthday dinner (and I've had 5 there!)on account of the noise levels (ie if you're noisy nobody cares!). If you live in London it's a must!
