We visited here for lunch on Sunday 5th July as a family group and oh dear what a disappointment. I will never return.

It is promoted as a family (children) friendly restaurant but I can not see why. There was nothing in the restaurant that said we like families and children. It was more like a night club/late night bar that was being used as a lunch venue in the afternoon to bring in a few extra pounds. And not doing it very successfully. It was completely soulless.

MPW has put his name to these restaurants but the food was nothing special. My burger was ok and my tiramesu was good but not as good as the one available at Harrod's pizza restaurant. NO fish was available and this was not because it was Sunday. The menu was headed Frankie's Sunday Menu. The wine was very so so.

The service, while friendly enough but vague and very very slow. That said it was cheap. The bill for 6 adults and 4 children came to £220

As I said I won't be going back but also will now mistrust restaurants that MPW has put his name to. It is a shame as he is without doubt the best British born chef that this country has ever produced.
