Really surprised for the below reviews complaning about service. I feel they are good and very efficient even in the busy night. My final comment to bento cafe, good food and reasonable price. Definitely will come back.

I stumbled upon this restaurant and am very pleased I did. The food in there is the best Japanese food I think I've ever had in London and it was reasonably priced. I didn't notice anything really wrong with the service, although a waitress that gave me my miso soup did seem a bit surly; luckily she wasn't the main person serving me. I'm really glad I found this place and am planning to go back again (maybe even for my birthday). Am hoping that I don't experience bad service next time!

Awful. Staff who couldn't seem to get the idea that with eight dining, we might want one more cup for green tea than the seven we were provided with. Female waiters seemed apathetic at best and insolent at worst.

Beef in the bento box and one other dish was so overcooked and tough as to be inedible and had to be sent back. The next table did the same thing with another dish, proving that the chef was able to impart his 'signature touch' widely across the menu I guess?

And they were annoyed that we elected to use our discretion to scrub the 10% 'discretionary' gratuity. What a dump . . . and it was full.

To steal a line, I suppose people who like this sort of thing will find this exactly the sort of thing they like.

The restaurant in itself is nice and well presented, the food is usually very nice, with a variety of vegetable options as well. Since I work in Camden, i go there quite often thus regarding the service it is a matter or getting the right waiter. Usually there are 3 male waiter there who are very nice, funny, pleasant, makes me smile and provided a good service.

with the 2 female waiters there I always feels that they are saying to the customers with their attitude: 'Oh my God, what are you doing here'. Basically, they are in the wrong job.

Tonight i am about to go there with my friend for her birthday meal, and hope the girls are not the one serving, but if so i might ask her if she really enjoys working there... LOL

I've eaten here a few times and always really enjoyed the food. The menu is extensive, imaginative and good value, which tempts me into over-ordering! The sushi is fresh and delicious, while it has a few unusually good vegetarian options (for a Japanese restaurant).

Service was reasonable, although clumsy; drinks were dropped over diners at the table next to us, making a terrible mess. The staff seemed to deal with those affected directly in a reasonable way, but I was a bit disappointed that they completely failed to notice that my bag had also got quite wet.

Have to say the best restaurant in London.

Reasonable price, good service and lots of singature dish, such as my favour white tiger roll, black cod miso, sashimi salad and the best - sesame ice cream.

Highly recommend to all who are looking best japanese cuisine.

Bento Cafe's food is really good. But it's not authentic Japanese. It's yummier than the real one though. Most of the staff are Chinese and Korean. And I was wondering whether the chef was Japanese?

Great food at a good price. The sushi is really fresh and of excellent quality. It's really well made. Service could come with a smile but don't let that put you off because the food alone is worth the visit. The ebi-fry and calamari are particularly delicious. Give the home-made black sesame ice-cream a try too. This is the place to go if you're craving Japanese food.
