Tumnan Thai

I would definitely recommend this Thai restaurant. The food was excellent, good sized portions and very tasty. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. It was reasonably priced. We will go back there.

I am really surprised that this lovely Thai restaurant only has 1 review on the site. The decor is warm and welcoming - think dark wood, thai sculptures etc, the food of a really good quality and the service so smiley and helpful. Starters were around the 5 quid mark, mains around 8 for the specials so it's also really good value. It really is nice to leave a restaurant late on a Friday night having had lots of wine and feeling pleasantly full after a delicious, good value meal with friends. Tumnan Thai is as good as anything in the area that's twice the price and I really do recommend it. There's only one thing that could be improved - the prawn crackers that greet you on arrival are the white, bubbly Chinese ones rather than the slightly brown, cracker like beauties that all good Thai restaurants normally have. But after a meal this nice I think I'll forgive them...
