The Thai

I love this restaurant. I moved to Wandsworth from Australia a year ago and this place has become a regular favourite. The food is fantastic, the style is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, the toilets are spotless and it is the perfect place for a night out with friends. It is very popular so be sure to book as you wouldnt want to miss out on dinner here.

Fantastic! Having moved here recently from New York where we were spoiled with great restaurants at our door step, we're very grateful to have The Thai as our local Thai restaurant. Go there 1-2 a month and have never been disappointed. Great food, service and ambiance time and time again!

We're lucky enough to have this as our local Thai and we love it. I've never had a bad meal there, either eating in or takeaway, and the staff are absolutely charming. The restaurant is delightful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a great restuarant that I take everyone to when they come and visit me in London. Good food, (try the prawns in plum sauce), friendly and efficient service and a really welcoming, laid back atmosphere.

Fantastic! Went to The Thai for dinner last night and the food was beautiful! Over the years I have visited many Thai restaurants and been to Thailand too so expected a high level and was not left disappointed. The service was efficient and smooth and the food could not be faulted. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back.

The Thai is a lovely restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and excellent service. The tables down the back with the comfy cushion seats are the best. It's always chockers so you need to book. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, although the mains are better value than the starters. I ate there last week and had chargrilled marinated prawns served with a chilli sauce (delicious & actually very hot) and a plum sauce. The prawns were huge - I've never seen prawns like that in London, and very tasty. My friend got the chicken with chilli and thai basil and that was delicious and a generous serving. I love this place :)

Going to this restaurant was a delight, and having had it recommended by 2 friends I was pleased it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, with the red duck curry a great choice, and the service was friendly & courteous without being intrusive. A great atmosphere for taking your partner for a romantic meal or for a civilised night out with friends who want good food without paying Blue Elephant prices!
