The Greek Taverna

Went to this restaurant last night. Unfortunately I found the the staff unhelpful with people who have a disability as I am on crutches but was told they do not do table service and I would have to go to the bar and get my drinks. Also whilst the plate smashing was going on I got hit with the flying chippings, this is expected but when I told one of the staff he basically accused me of picking it up off the floor.

The food was nice but no olives were on the table like other greek places I've been to. You didn't have to wait too long and things were cleared quickly, sometimes too quick as our drinks kept getting taken.

Overall it was ok but been to better.

We had our office Christmas party at The Greek taverna mid December.

What can I say? Probably the best greek restaurant in Surrey. My staff and I both praise this restaurant so much that we are going back for one of the boys' birthday party in February. Quality of the food was excellent, with large portions for everybody. The restaurant looks really lovely, the staff were great and the show and atmosphere were great. Dancing, music, plate smashing, show...

what else could you ask for?

We were at the greek taverna for our company christmas party in london and had a fabbbbbbb time!

This is a great party restaurant, and instead of doing the usual tribute nights like abba, elvis and tom jones, we did a greek party. Smashing plates, fire dancing and the like. Lovely food, lovely people, lovely christmas party.

Simply the best restaurant around. I had my 21st in there and it was the best day in my life so far... the guys that worked there were great friendly and very helpful. The show was brilliant and for the disco they would play any song you request. I recommend it to every one you will have a top night

The Greek Taverna in Surrey is without doubt the best Greek restaurant that I have been to (and so say my friends, too) My hen night was the best I could have wished for. The staff were friendly and courteous, the food was beautiful and well presented, and the show was really good. They did a mock wedding, with two of the waiters dressed up as a bride and groom! My friends absolutely loved it!

As well as talking about our wedding, everybody was talking about my hen night!

We're going back in July for my friend's 30th birthday party.
