Eds Easy Diner (Chelsea)

Went in to the "original" Ed's Easy Diner today just around lunch time and it was great. We were there 10 years ago and although burger and shake sizes have shrunk a little, the overall was great. Burger was medium and the fries were real. Nice one, Ed's!!
Love the little Jukeboxes at every seat - the 50s and 60s music is simply the best.
Keep up the great work, Ed's! We'll be back - SOON.

This used to serve great burgers but they seem to have shrunk in size lately. Chelsea and Fulham now have other gourmet burger bars and Ed's just isn't keeping up. The burgers need to contain a decent portion of meat and be better cooked. As you have to sit staring at the staff, it would help if they stopped whooping as if flipping burgers was great fun. Just relax and let us relax. Not going back for a long time.

Normally I hate burger bars & burgers but I needed something & was in a hurry so it had to do I have to admit I expected very little from this place but what a suprise the burger was served medium not like the normal cremated lump of rubber you get at the more well known chains while for me there was too much lettuce in it this is a personal thing & most people may disagree.
The service was fast friendly & helpful.
As for the Belgian waffles maple syrup & ice cream what a treat & just like the burger worth every penny
My only gripe was it has the worlds smallest toilet but that forgivable when everything else is that good.
if you need to watch the calories this is a place to avoid very often but as an occaisional treat well worth it.
I only went here by chance but diet permitting I will be back again & again.

This restaurant was overpriced for such simple easy food. The food was served quickly but they were small portions and averggae in taste. I think all branches of Ed's diner are pretty similar too !!

Probably one of the finest burgers I've ever had. The shakes are great too! Had a great time. Really friendly service. I will be back.
