I went with colleagues for lunch, my first visit, but I was accompanied by one of my colleagues who eats the lobster sandwich there three or four times a week, amazingly.
It is a perfectly nice space, with good tables, excellent staff who were efficient and friendly, and it was pretty empty - so far so good. The fairy lights were rather distracting, if I am being picky.
But £20 for a hamburger and £6 for two bottles of Coke is a lot, and the Americano coffee was tasteless. Which brings me to the lobster: well, I admit that if I ever visited an abattoir, I would become a vegetarian, and that is how I feel about lobsters and crabs. Luckily I had my back to the huge fish tanks and I also did not see the sign that said something along the lines of 'when I heat up, I go red' that was behind me. If I had seen either, it would have turned my stomach.
My lobster afficionado colleague loves the place, so I defer to him, but for my personal reasons, I won't be going again!
