Why do I see amazing reviews for this place? I went and got rubbish service. They had 6 staff waiting on tables and they could not cope, I had to call the waiter over to serve me. Ordered the vegetable Gyoza and it was not very good and my partner ordered the ramen noodles which were overly salty. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes and we still had not received our sushi, tired of waiting we paid for the hot meals and left to go to our usual Japanese down the road. No one in that restaurant is Japanese so I have no idea why reviewers are claiming the food is authentic Japanese. Either they have not had decent Japanese food before or they do not have taste buds, I just know I will not be recommending this place to my friends EVER.

Went for the 3rd time today and had a consistently good experience. We've had a mix of Sushi and ramen etc here and it's all been superb. The quality of the dishes is really good. No it's not the best in London, but for my money as a local it's much better than i'd have expected. They have all my favourites, Hamachi, Agadashi Tofu, Spider Crab etc, and they're cooked to a great standard. Very pleased to have it as a local and will be back frequently.

As an aside, I'm not sure why the reviewer below thinks the Sushi/Sashimi is expensive - Good fish is expensive and frankly if i paid less than the amount they charged, i'd be suspicious. It's not expensive - We paid £56 today and had Sake, Sashimi, maki, tempura, and ramen for 2 and were stuffed!.. That's good value for money in my book!

Among the best sashimi I've found in London. Prepared with love and passion. An unexpected gem. We paid £20 per head and left feeling full. No concerns for us regarding value. This isn't fine dining but it's lovely and authentic Japanese food in a casual setting.

To have a Japanese open up in south east london was a delight for myself and my wife.

The sushi was light and authentic with great choice and the sashimi very good though I've had better.

What was disappointing was the outrageous price, £56 for two people and left feeling hungry (take-away by the way.)

Sorry but this is a blatant attempt to rip people off due to lack of competition.
