There were 11 of us last night. We waited about 10 minutes for a table to clear but that was understandable. The waiter was so attentive. The food was delicious. Couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you

This is the busiest branch of Wagamama I have ever visited. It was only a Wednesday night, but the queue went all the way down their stairs and round the corner. The wait was however only approximately 15 minutes. The staff took longer than usual to take our orders. We did notice however that most of the other diners had the same offer as us and perhaps that was why it was so busy.

Wagamama has an extensive vegetarian selection including at least one veggie dish in each section of their menu. There was also a cold mushroom-based dish with salad on the specials menu. I chose my favourite Wagamama meal – "yasai katsu curry" – also known as battered slices of sweet potato, aubergine and butternut squash served with curry sauce, lettuce and rice. We all ordered mains and drinks each, plus edaname (green soya beans topped with garlic and chilli salt) to share as a starter. The Wagamama menu does warn you that the food is brought to your table as and when it is ready, but this was one of my few visits when everything came in the wrong order. One friend's chicken dish from the 'specials' menu arrived first, and we had a considerable wait first for our drinks and then for the rest of the food. The second main came about 5 minutes after the drinks, and the remaining two dishes and edaname came just when my friend who was served first was finishing her meal.

We had 2 handbag.com vouchers between four so the total bill came to £36 for 4 mains, 1 shared dish, 3 beers, 1 bottled water and the free mugs of green tea. We topped this up to £40, which is good value for money as £10 each. Wagamama is good at what it does, but on this occasion it was a shame that everything arrived such a long time apart.

I adore this place!

Being relatively new to Japanese food I was slightly worried, but this place completely had me at ease.

The atmosphere is lively, service was quick and helpful. The size of the main courses is just right and it's nice and affordable for students. Not only is the food delicious it's healthy too!! :D

I've been back countless times and the standard is always the same: wonderful! If you do try this restaurant, try and save some space for dessert. They are amazingly good!

absolutely fantastic. My daughter just wants to come back time and time again.

she is only fourteen so this is great as she loves everthing; and this pleases me as she is eating healthy.

A good reliable place to have fairly decent food - it's always nice to have a bowl of Ramen on a freezing winters day in London. Not complaining about the price either :)

A reliably cheap and tasty way to grab some food, as is the deal with Wagamama. I probably eat here too often, but I just find the ramen so tasty! However on my last visit the waiter got my order wrong, no big deal. But I found it totally unnecessary and embarrassing that his despotic boss saw fit to deliver him a dressing down right in front of us. I apologised to the waiter after and wish I'd just eaten what I was given.

Wagamama's have now turned into a chain and you can't half tell! I used to really like the place, but the food is fairly mediocre now and just about average. The menu could do with an update too. So its inexpensive and the food is decent enough - but thats what makes it fall foul of its own success - its just ok now - C'mon Waga's pull it out the bag again and start being wonderful again instead of just OK.
