Wagamama (Parkfield St)

I have never been to a Wagamama before but really fancied miso soup and the place next door that did free refills had been replaced by a burger joint.
Tables and stools pretty uncomfy and I wouldn't have been keen to share a table. Thankfully it was big and not busy so put our shopping bags next to us.
Ordered seaweed salad, prawn and veg gyoza and chicken skewers.
Gyoza arrived a long time before the other things, but were actually really good. Plenty of prawn flavour and crunchy veg, with crisp coating. In fact the casings were actually a bit too crispy, almost like fried won tons.
Miso was decent but not very warm. Small portion too. Liked the picks served on the side.
Chicken was slightly fatty and underdone but not in a really bad way. Sauce was tasty but felt chicken could have been marinaded more, portion was generous. Seaweed salad arrived last which was annoying but portion was good and it was really pretty tasty, with quite a few ingredients but plenty of seaweed.
Not bad and might try one of the bigger dishes if I'm hungry when shopping.
