i agree one hundred precent .it was the best fish and chips i've had ever.

the fish was sort and hot. the chips were nice and crispy not to salty just right.

i want to know how they do it .

i go there every friday after the pub its the best .

they do all other sorts to but id like to thank mr k postacioglu for owning the shop and i think you should try the fish there .

I am a local and I go here all the time - the food is consistantly very good - which is always a good sign! Food is cooked at the right temperature making it crisply fried without being greasy. It must be the healthiest fish and chips in London. Friendly staff, simple surroundings and excellent fish and chips. It's got my vote and I often choose to eat here over the more pricey eateries in the vacinity - not because it is cheaper but because it is always very enjoyable!

my boyfriend and me went there for dinner. we both had fish and chips and a side salade, garden peas. The portion was huge!!!!!! The fish was very fresh, and cooked brilliantly!

I visited the Metzo for takeaway fish & chips for my family on Tuesday evening. On entering everything seemed pretty basic, i wouldn't say posh. I little man behind the counter looked like someone out of the GodFather, however he was very funny and friendly. I ordered 3 sets of cod & chips, steak&kidney pie & chips, sausage & chips and one pot of mushy peas and one pot of curry sauce (due to my sisters weird taste buds).

Once home, the wrapped up food was passed out opened up and enjoyed with silence. The cod was huge and very tasty, there was mountins of chips aswell which were also a nice change from the usual greasy chips, they were crispy and fresh.

I would recommend a visit!
