We went to El Blason last night for dinner and we really really enjoyed it. The food was exceptional and the wine too! The crab soup was just perfect and the lamb was fantastic! Highly recommended and you get what you pay. Will definitely visit again! Trust me I have been around and this is different; it is pure good food!

We have just got back from a fantastic night at the El Blason, Chelsea. We were in a party of 8 and were very well attended to. A variety of Tapas dishes to start off the evening with a beer followed by a Paella (shared by 2) Fillet steaks (Caramelised) for 5 of us and the chicken dish for my girlfriend. All agreed the food was out of this world and the service was splendid. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fabulous night out with quality produce and excellent service.......

Went to El Blason last night[15th august 2009] it was around 10pm and only 2 other people in the restaurant so we were a bit apprehensive, however this restaurant is a real find. The avocado and crab starter was wonderful and our party of 4 all had fillet steak roquefort which again was superb. The waiters were very attentive and friendly.Total bill was £220 for two courses, two bottles of wine and coffees.I would definitely visit again.

I was warned by a friend never to go to a restaurant on Valentines day because places will only offer the least popular or most profitable dishes and charge top-dollar. Unfortunately he was completely correct. To my disappointment, my girlfriend and I could not order the famous El Blason paella. In fact, we were given a set-menu which was a very expensive £50 per head. To be fair, the food was fine. But could they get away with this any other day of the year with a discerning Chelsea clientele? Absolutley not. I should have been warned when I booked the restaurant days earlier that the normal menu would not be available. If I had known, I would have chosen another restaurant.
