My god what a useless place la pig is, it is without doubt the worst eatery in London. Yes the portions are big, its cheap SO WHAT. The food is awful the staff are obtrusive the service WHAT SERVICE !!!!!! is terrible the food all comes at different times the staff dont care the place looks dirty along with the staff, no one seems to have a clue. So there you are my review of the worst place i have ever been to.

Absolutely Wicked Place! La Porchetta Finsbury Park is the place is discovered in 2000 when moved to N4. Loved it since Day One! Pizzas are Amazing, not only the size is great! My favourites are Fiorentina and Quatro Fromaggi.....Prices lower than Pizza Express with nearly double the size! Gnocchi A'la Romana is another one worth trying. Most recently I fell in love with Mussels in red (tomato)sauce....Cozze Provinciale and a hell of a spicy Prawn feast....Gamberetti Ala Diavola.....

I have eaten there hundreds of times, had my Birthday do there and brought many friends there and they always delivered great service, good value and TOP CLASS HOME COOKED FOOD.

Highly recommended.

La Porchetta is not just about the best pizzas in London (a judgement I fully agree with); it's about finding in a city where overpriced Italian food is the norm a restaurant where there is little or no pretence, welcoming staff, generous portions of all dishes on the menu, a splendid stinco di porco (that's ham hock for you, slowly simmered with white wine and mushrooms), and much else besides. It's about enjoying a meal as good and comforting as you'd get in an unpretentious trattoria in the mother country. If you hate children, or noise, of course, this is not the place for you. And there is plenty of both, as eating there won't burn a hole in your pocket, and as the waiters and waitresses show the traditional Meditteranean warmth towards young ones. On match days, this also becomes a meeting place for Arsenal fans and their families. Many of them - like me - have been going for years, and will go back. I won't expect cooking of the standard you get at Locatelli's - the best of its kind, by the way -; but I know I won't be disappointed, and will raise my glass of (complimentary) grappa or limoncello to that with pleasure.

I can assure you of two things: number one, that this restaurant serves the best pizza in London, and number two, that I am not one of the staff. I thank you.

I can only imagine that it is the owners who send in good reviews about this pizzeria because this place is the essence of poor quality poor service and poor manners. I went there the other night because i stupidly forgot to book a table of 10 in my usual eatery in finsbury park, and it was in some ways a good thing because it made me realise what a great place i usually go to is. I dont really want to waste my time by writing anymore about la porchetta and i think its name reflects perfectly the stlye of place that it is. A PIG. I give it 1out of 10 just because i'm feeling generous

love, love, love this place. I've been eating here since it opened, and despite the fact that it is rustic, sometimes a little noisy(i call it atmospheric), it is one of my fave places to eat. Massive portions, cheap prices, friendly staff and delicious food.

If you only eat one pizza in your life, it should be a La Porchetta pizza - they are seriously better than any I've had in Rome and Naples.
