Tangawizi

Excellent dinner for 6 at Tangawizi. Service impeccable (you don't get to say that often these days), food delicious all round and prices fair (they don't add an automatic service charge - again another customer friendly policy). Highly recommended for all occasions.

I dined in this restaurant last week on a team night night out. They food was excellent match by the wonderful service. We did have one small hiccup when a waiter accidently spilt a starter on one of my collegues, but all in all very good. The menu is simple with good selection of veg and non veg. The food is slightl;y pricey but if you want good food then this is a place to try.

I revisited this restaurant after nearly 9 months. I must say that I was very impressed with the level of service and the quality of food. The "Bib" award is well deserved. Keep up the good work.

I'm fortunate to have this as my local Indian, and it is consistantly superb. Eating at Tangawizi is a real treat. Prices are high, but then so is everything in Richmond!

a group of us recently visited england from las vegas . we have alot of fine resturants but boy these guys blew them away .the food was great and contains no msg stuff they put in to make it more flavorsome ,its simply quality.the service is second to none and let me tell you i know about service as i work in a top vegas casino .all in all tangawizi we all miss ya..

Quite simply this is one of the best contemporary indian restaurants around. All the food is freshly prepared and the flavours blend together effortlessly. The owners are attentive and service is excellent without being overbearing.

If you want hot,cheap curry go to your local curry house. If you want to explore real indian food, this is the place to come

Had a lovely evening at this restaurant last weekend, recommended by my friends and so right they were. Food, service and ambience top notch. Try the mango paneer, its the best !

Tangawizi is a vibrant, modern Indian restaurant with excellent service. The staff care so much about your dining experience and try to make it special, so it's such a shame that the food, while beautifully presented, is consistently bland. I've been back several times hoping that if I choose a different dish I may get the rich, tasty flavours I crave, but with no success. If you like very mild curries though, you would probably enjoy Tangawizi. And the service is second to none.

I have to agree with Amar Singh... some of these reviews seem a little OTT in their praise. It is a lovely place to eat and the service was excellent. HOWEVER, the food is average at best and certainly overpriced. Probably won't be going back.

I was very happy to see that Tangawizi had been awarded "Michelin’s Bib Gourmand Award" - recognition by professionals who know about high quality good food. I'm surprised at the last reviews where they say the food is expensive. The Bib Gourmand Award is specifically for "good food at moderate prices", and who better to trust than Michelin.

Well done Tangawizi!! An award well deserved!!
