Top notch food and service. The service really makes the place - they go out of their way to make it a fun and informative eating experience.
Cost about £25 each for our table of 5 for a selection of starters & mains (more than we could finish) and a couple of Ethiopian beers each.
My only criticism was the charge of £1.50 for each dip with the starters (totalling £6 for the table), which I thought was a bit over the top as they were essentially just yoghurt / chilli sauce.

My girlfriend heard about this restaraunt through a friend but were not prepared for how spectacular this little place is. One really wouldnt expect it by its location and exterior but on entering we were welcomed with open arms by the wonderful owners. Its a family run restaraunt whoes owners come from Eritrea with whom we spoke a great deal. Their honest, genuine nature and welcoming banter really works to create an unparalleled friendly atmosphere. And the food!!! Delicious, and more importantly in this time of economic turmoil, cheap. I would recomend this little gem to anyone.

We had a really great night at Mosob. Great food, good music and a really friendly atmosphere. The hosts are very nice and take time to chat about Eritrea, food, music etc. They were also very accommodating to us with our little baby - nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this to others - a gem at a very reasonable price.

An excellent place to sit and have a nice long meal and talk with friends. We sat in the back and Ben made sure that everything was taken care of. There were four of us and we each made a choice of starter and main. The starters are non-traditional and really, given the size of the main are needed but the are delicious. The mains are served on a large injera covered tray, all together so everyone can share. The staff will make good suggestions, like they did with us when they saw we were ordering four meat dishes, Ben suggested replacing one with veg.
As I said before the food is excellent, the staff great, the coffee superb, and they also had no problems when we tried to set the table on fire by knocking over the burner during coffee.
The meal came to £20 per person, starter, main, 2-3 drinks each, and coffee.
Excellent place!

I have to agree with the consensus of opinion on Mosob. The service was very friendly, efficient, and warm, and the food was great. The best Eritrean I've had in London for sure.

An unforgettable experience. Should you be so unfortunate as to ignore this magnificent and (very) ancient civilisation, fear not, the staff is friendly and will gladly introduce you to Eritrean culture (just ask for the book on Eritrea…). Luckily, good food not only is universal but also supersedes cultural barriers and at Mosob food is simply divine. This is a family business and you will get homemade food. Trust me, you will notice it from the minute you put that first piece of injera in your mouth. The staff is among the friendliest I met in London and (very important) the menu price is reasonable. I almost feel guilty about writing this review, I want to keep this piece of East Africa all for myself…

What a rare treat. The atmosphere was so warrm and welcoming that we both felt as if we had been asked to dinner rather than going out to a restaurant. Everyone that came in for supper was greeted like old friends. Benyan was so charming and so enthusiastic about Eritrea, about us, and about introducing us to the food from his country. His mother cooked it all and we felt so pleased and lucky to be there enjoying it. We will go again soon and bring the whole family. Such a relief after all of the trendy predicatable restaurants of London today. Many thanks Pam and Tim

Where can I begin. This place ouzes with excellence, from the staff to the scenerey. Mums two boys do a great job of greeting and seating. As well as their interest in your opinions. For a 22 yr old born in London-Eritrean, many restaurants like this place do not appeal to me. But as for Mosob, their aquaintance with the young (sensible) crowd as well as their accomodation for the older generation make this place a winner.
The food is great value for money and tastes impecable. Waiting time is minimal and drinks are reasonably priced. 5 full stomachs with 6 drinks AND a bottle of wine did not exceed £40...happy days!
This place cannot be faltered and I recommend it for anyone going alone or with friend/lover. Mosob caters for all.

Mosob is a treat. Really friendly guys in there. Lots of regulars who are known to the staff, you really feel like you could come in and just have a beer and a chat at the bar. Spinach starters are exquisite – no other word. Eritrean beer is good. For mains we had two varieties of lamb stew, both were excellent. So, three beers, one starter and two mains, all for £23! Check this place out; it really is one of the best places you will find to eat in London (IMHO).
