I haven't been to Palms of Goa in years but on my Study Abroad I ate there at least 2x a week. The staff was really courteous and the food was great!!! I wish I could find that great Indian food here in the US!

My boyfriend and I went here last Friday (30 June) and we had an amazing meal!! Fresh back from Goa ourselves, feeling nostalgic and slightly tipsy, we had two of the best curries of our lives. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and lovable (true goans) and the food was top notch and cheap - we had 2 curries, 2 naans, a rice, beer and wine for £27, Bargainous!

Am already planning my next visit, and can't wait to have more of the Pomfret curry!

The food is overpowering, and staff are miserable lot. Me and my partner went last friday and the place was empty. We had waiters staring at my girlfriend the whole time, made us feel so uncomfatable. we left have way.

I've been going to Palms for about a decade, and it is one of my favourite local restaurants. The service is very sweet and attentive, the food is always of a good standard and I absolutely adore their Baingan Masala (a wonderfully tasty, gloopy aubergine dish) which I order every time. OK, so the portions of rice are not huge, but who wants to feel uncomfortably full anyway? The main thing is the curry portions are perfectly satisfactory, and that's very important to me!

Me and my partner ate here recently and both thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the service good but not overly attentive and despite the comments by some reviewers the portions were generous..

I would recommend the paneer, green chilly and masala curry and the mango ice cream with a touch of cardamom. yum!

I have been to this restautant a few times for a work lunch and the food has always been very tasty and good. Although the portions are not huge I do not think that they are too small either and I always leave the restaurant full and satisfied. The atmosphere is comfortable and the interior is very nice with pictures painted on the walls. I will continue to eat at this restaurant.

Agghh. Every friday we eat out and the first time I have left an Indian restaurant hungry. The portions were small which turned out to be a blessing - we didn't waste too much dreadful, awful food.

Never, never, never, never. I felt like parading outside with a placard. Eat fast food, grab a sandwich, just go somewhere they have a little pride in what they do.

The take-away lunch boxes and the thali are very good value. However, when i came here with a group of 4 friends (all male except me), we paid, collected our food and went the leave. The owner ran up to me, grabbed me on the shoulder and accused me of not paying. It took a long time to convince him that my friend had bought me lunch.

Absolutely appalling behaviour, very embarrassing too and because of this I shan't be returning, whether or not the food is good.

Very good apart from the smoking policy, in July next year this will be an excellent place for a curry after work with a few friends.

We actually dropped in after being unable to get in to a preferred Indian restaurant, we the whole family was glad they did. Absolutely savory dishes, the type you switch between, thinking each is better than the next. Maybe I would wish portion sized were bigger, but otherwise no suggestions.

Our next trip to London, we'll be back
