I disagree with Thomas below. My husband and I went on Saturday evening, during a visit to London, it had been recommended to me while I worked in London. I wish I had only gone sooner. the food was delicious (Chicken Brown Stew) the organic wine was reasonably priced & tasty. the staff were very attentive, but not too much so, fabulous music got me in the holiday mood. Overall I would DEFINATELY recommend this restaurant

we went on saturday to this restaurant, after reading the reviews on this site. i strongly disagree with the things said on this site about the place. let's just say, people shouldn't "vote" for their friends and family. it's all about an honest opinion. a rating of nine and more is far too high for food and service.

How can i fault this restaunrant... it's impossible.

1)Service excellent

2) Atmosphere excellent

3) Food, extremely tasty

Me and my patner came here Saturday night, we were greeted by the extremly friendly host, and we were given our seats and given our drinks. Then followed some complementary bread (something like roti) which was quite tasty. For our main, i had the farenhight chicken, (wow!) with rice n peas, my patner had the peppered steak (an actualy steak, with a mouth watering gravy garnish) with r n peas. The flavours were very unique to the usual caribbean flavours but cleverly kept their caribbean flavours.... The macaroni cheese now, was some GOOD macaroni cheese, the coleslaw was also nice. We were so stuffed afterwards we couldn't even contemplate dessert but we did really enjoy our evening out. So far this is the best caribbean sit down restaunrant i have found let see if anybody can match them.....

Fahrenheit had fantastic service, lovely food and a lovely ambience. After looking at some of the reviews on this site, we went there on January 6 for our anniversary and how glad we are that we did! Quality food, authentic taste and great presentation. We were given a lot of attention and some wine on the house to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be going back for authentic West Indian food, that was worthy restaurant fare anywhere in the world. As we live in North London, it is not very far from us at all and that is a bonus! Happy to recommend Fahrenheit to absolutely anyone.

I spent New Years Eve at Fahrenheit with my partner and throughly enjoyed both the company and the food. Being Afro- Carribean ourselves we were slightly sceptical as to whether the menu would be 'typical' but we were pleasantly suprised!

The restaurant has a cool, friendly carribean atmosphere to it which appeals to all ages. We are aged 22 and 25, however our fellow diners were a variety of ages and all seemed to enjoy the vibe.

Angie, the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and did all she could to make sure we were satisfied customers. This included adjusting a set menu and adding alternative dishes to meet our needs.

The restaurant is ideal for all occasions, whether its a romantic meal or a birthday celebration which you can end in the wine bar downstairs. So if your looking for goods west indian food, good music and good company check out Fahrenheit you won't be dissapointed.

My Girlfriend & I decided to try Fahrenheit restaurant out for NYE, we are glad to say we were not dissapointed by the experience, and the positive reviews (posted on this site) proved quite accurate.

My parents are from J.A so I have a idea how a W.I restaurant should be.

Summary of the evening(checklist):-

Location - main road (fairly easy to find)

Parking - very good

1st Impression (decor) - good

Entrance service - a bit slow (even when quite)

Drinks service - Slow

Friendliness - Excellent

Food - Traditional W.I cooking to high standard (both our meals were spicy)

Value for money - very good

Overall, considering it was a set menu for the night, with limited selection, the food was excellent although there should be a indicator for spicyness as my girlfiends chicken in Chilli Sauce was HOT!

Definitely, will be going back in the very near future as it was a pleasant experience.

Having read all of the good reviews on here, I decided to go to Fahrenheit for my birthday with my girlfrend.

We were NOT disappointed! It was quiet with it being a weekday (Tuesday) evening, but the waitresses were EXTREMELY polite and it had a nice vibe.

I had a Chicken Skewer for starters and a Peppered Steak for my main course, whilst my girlfriend had a side of Fried Plantain for starters and a (very large!) Chicken Roti for her main course.

We were well fed and the food was delicious, so I have no problems in recommending Fahrenheit to anyone who wants to sample some fine West Indian cuisine!

After reading the previous reviews I thought this was definitely a restaurant worth a visit... So last night my partner and I having booked a table and travelled a fair distance, went along with high expectations all round. Despite this we really had the most wonderful evening. Both of us are new to Caribbean cuisine, and our waitress was happy to describe all of the main courses and recommended particular side dishes to complement our choices. The food itself was fantastic, so fresh, delicious and moreish, and the portions were of a very good size. With our meal we had a bottle of wine, which again was top notch and from a very reasonablly priced wine list. To complete our meal we each had a large glass of rum punch which we loved! Service was so friendly and attentive, yet non invasive throughout. Can't wait to visit again soon, just wish I lived closer- though definitely worth the extra travelling time. Highly recommended to one and all!!!
