Cinnamon

Thoroughly pleasant restaurant. The food is freshly made, very very tastey, and is extremely reasonably priced (basic dishes start at £4.95, up to about £10.95 for their specialities, which are often something new to the palate of those who have generally only been to your bog-standard local Indian restaurant!). Worth either a sit-down meal or a takeaway. Naans, Rotis and Chapatis are all made fresh, and have delicious flavours and none of the toughness of many Indian restaurants.

Additionally, the staff are very friendly, and often throw in something complimentary after your meal!

Highly recommended!

We have been going to Kafe La/Cinnamon for the past 5 years. Recently we tried a couple of others, one recommended by Gordon Ramsay. I won't be following his recommendations again......didn't even come close to the authentic cuisine of Cinnamon.

Excellent food, great variety, prompt friendly service.Can't endorse it highly enough.

We have been using Cinnamon (old name Kafe La) as our top choice for curry takeaways since we moved to the area about 5 years ago. In our opinion it beats the Babur takeaway hands-down!

Veggie options are amazing, and we are big fans of the Coriander chicken - I visited Bangladesh for a friends wedding a few years back and this is the closest I have come to true Bangla cuisine in London - very reasonably priced too.

FYI Kafe La has recently been renamed "Cinnamon".

My boyfriend and I had a delicious take out from Cinnamon last night. The curries come with generous portions of meat / veg so its not just bulked up with sauce. I highly recommend the Lamb Rogan! And its good value for money too.

We will definitely be eating at Cinnamon again.

I went to Kafe La in Forest Hill with my girl friend last night. The atmosphere was very nice and the food and service was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise. The interior design is well thought out and romantic. They really think of small, but nice details, even chocolates and a rose for my GF when we finished.

Fabulous! I only discovered this place over the Internet recently and was completely surprised by how delicious the food was. Much, much better than your typical Tandoori take-away; full of rich spices and mouth watering flavours, all at a perfectly reasonable price. Absolutely fantastic.
