Ditto Bar and Restaurant

I went here with a friend for dinner last night. The decor is great and the menu offers a good selection of dishes. We both had the homemade chicken pie - which tasted good. However we had to send our side orders back to the kitchen twice and the service was surly and without a smile - annoying therefore that a service charge is automatically added to the bill. We won't be hurrying back which is a shame because the place looks fantastic.

I was here for dinner with friends a few weeks ago and have to admit, the steak here is to die for. Definitely the best I have had in London in the last 7 years.

The decor is very modern, with comfy leather sofas and chairs and the staff very friendly and accomodating. A real find!

The previous reviews sum up Ditto perfectly - its a great venue with a nice buzz from Monday to Sunday. It could be so much more if the service was consistent and food taken up a notch or two.

Good quality neighbourhood restaurant in Wandsworth, ideal for Sunday lunches with the family. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, good food and reasonably priced. The wine list also merits praise.

Ditto has a great atmosphere and stylish yet comfortable interiors. The staff is really friendly and with its extensive drinks list it's a great local to hang out in, particularly on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

But Ditto’s downfall is the food. And as nicely as it is presented, it just isn't great by any means but quite frankly bland and boring.

It’s a real shame as Ditto really has the potential to be something extraordinary.

well, it's been going a long time has Ditto. and it's gone from goodto bad back to good again and onthe evidence of my last visit there at the weekend it seems to have dropped again. i love this place it has all the ingredients of succes but...

I do hope they get it right as there are not many places in SW18 with the same ambience - good luck people.
