Salieri Restaurant

Wow mixed reviews for this restaurant. Ive eaten there 3 times now and I love it. Great food, service and atmosphere for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and am quite surprised to read negative reviews.

We had a wonderful meal, with excellent service and a very reasonable bill at the end. I highly reccommend this restaurant. My only critisism is the toilet facilities need up- dating and the stairs need a bit of t.l.c.

This place is absolutely horrible. The decor is fine, the staff is nice, but the food, oh the food is literally not edible. My husband and I were very hungry and couldn't even finish our meals (he had lamb and I had the ravioli). This place must get by on just its location. Ugh, please never ever go there.

Great place, been there for lunch on several occasions I recommend the set menu fantastic value, and also once went for dinner there after seeing Evita at the Adelphi, my partner and I both love it there.

several years ago me and my now ex wife went to Salieri' and enjoyed it so much but i left london but now im back in town well i will deffinatly be going back the food is great the service the best ive had and being a waiter myself what better compliment as for the food well words just fail me i enjoyed the meals i have had here so much so that i am proud 2 put my name to this review and advertise the restaurant on my website to as 1 of my fave places in london

We went there for lunch just befor the Porgy & Bess Matinee, they were extremely busy, and fortunately enough they had a space for two. I had the salmon roulade and chicken milanese which were both excellent and my wife enjoyed the italian special menu she choose. We shall definately go there for dinner and book a table very soon.

We went to this restaurant on the Strand on Saturday night and would never go again or recommend it to anyone.

We were disgusted with the whole ambience of this place. We'd booked for four people and told them we needed one gluten-free meal because I am coeliac. No problem, they said. Not true! The 'no problem' part was no problem to them - no sauces for me, minimum effort.

They had obviously forgotten our booking and we had to wait until eventually we were ushered downstairs into the most squashed cafe area we have ever seen. We were then abandoned to try and find our way behind the tables brushing against clients who were eating.

As they were not prepared to make any concessions, we got up and walked out. Fortunately, PJ's was just around the corner and their approach was the exact opposite. We had an excellent meal there and returned another evening!

I can hardly understand why this restaurants gets so positive reviews. The grubby interior requires some refurbishment pretty soon. The food was mediocre at best though one of the four of us really liked his dish (duck). I will not got there again.

Salieri's, an extremely pleasant atmosphere, always a great ''buzz'' of conversation, just like the interval of a theatre,when the play has been good. The food is excellent and well presented by pleasant staff and whenever I,m in London I always go with a guest. It has been a pleasure to eat there many many times and a trip to London without it, is an anticlimax. In fact the writer is going there this weekend for a celebration weekend in London. Best Wishes and happy to be quoted.
