My partner & I are regular diners at The Kings Arms & have often read the reviews on this site but under the "Gastro" section. We LOVE their food...everything is fresh & homemade from their bread to their pasta to their sausages even!
Perhaps it isn't for everyone...like the review below in this section. But for us it's perfect & getting busier everytime we are there.

On reading the previous comments on this Gastro Pub I was looking forward to the Kings Arms changing my low opinion pub food. Unfortunately, it did not. Although the food is very well presented it does not taste as good as it looks I'm afraid. I experienced a truly awful mushroom pasta and my friend a mediocre sausage & mash, the meal only being saved by a good apple & rhubarb pie to follow. I shall revert to my mantra of "eat in restaurants, drink in pubs".
