As others say Thai Edge did really use to be very nice but not so any more. The quality of the 'cooked to order' eat-as-much-as-you-like is no better than that of a buffet. The starters were individually too big meaning they weren't cooked through or were cooked unevenly. Everything was crying out for proper seasoning. The duck must be pre-prepared as it was cold, dry and in tiny shreds. The pancakes too weren't fresh and were falling apart because they were so dry. The soups were OK and the mains were better; thankfully at least you'll be guaranteed a nice pad thai. The service wasn't great and we had to ask for the whereabouts of our drinks and menus several times. Having said all this the place was very busy by the time we left so perhaps the quality of sushi is a lot better. The quality of service can and should be corrected very simply and very quickly. And if all the food were indeed freshly prepared it should at least be hot!

Was honestly one of the worst restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to torture myself in. A Thai and Japanese restaurant served by chefs who has no idea what Thai or Japanese food should taste like. Thick green curry? Warm sushi rice? Soggy sticky Thai rice? Crispy aromatic duck????? In a Thai and Japanese restaurant???? Seafood wasn't fresh. In fact, the tempura prawns were off. And it isn't cheap either! Never ever again. It should close down.

This place is really rubbish now! I used to come here all the time but the service has gone down so much. I am currently still sitting here waiting for just tap water for about 30 mins! On top of that the food is taking so long to come! They have the cheek to say you can only sit here for 2 hours but come on if only order once and it takes two hours to come then what's the point in coming here!

Came here on a Friday night to celebrate friend's birthday, shop was generally quite busy so be sure to book! Had the sushi plate and a green curry (greedy I know!) and orders came quickly. Though a friend had to chase her dishes up, the staff were polite to help.

Unlike the other reviewer, I didn't find the food expensive at all, it was mid-mark. All in all, a good visit.

Give it a miss. Too expensive!!! Beware food is full of MSG. Makes you extremely thirsty and put you off. We had three items as take away i.e. 4 chicken satay, 4 prawn satay and 4 prawn tempura and the bill came to £19.80. What a rip off!!!

Won't go again.
