Completely agree with the reviews here. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last night and quickly had any illusion of a relaxed and unhurried evening meal shattered!

I should have guessed that the food would be terrible when I bit into the dry old piece of bread that was initially brought to our table. We opted for pizzas - vegetarian and the American with chilli oil. The food arrived in double quick time but... vegetables were interpreted as a light, uneven sprinkling of mushrooms and peppers (only enough to cover half the pizza). The American pizza was lacking in flavour and heat. My boyfriend asked for some fresh chillies but was supplied with chilli flakes which must have been out for a while as they were equally bland! The pizza bases were soggy and tasted stale.

The wine we chose was good but there was no time to savour it - our plates were taken the second the final bite of food went into our mouths. We were pretty keen to drink up and get out of there anyway!

I can only think that this restaurant survives on tourists/theatregoers who make the mistake of dropping in. I'd be suprised to find that this place has much in the way of repeat business or regulars! I certainly won't be visiting again.

We went to this restaurant last night. The staff are rude. You get rushed along. I had not finished my meal before the plate was rushed away. The Gnocchi was not cooked well. The waiters were in such a rush to get us out so they could get the next unlucky customers in that they knocked my wine all over the table. The waiter blamed someone for pushing his arm but there was no-one there. We then got the bill. The figures were scibbled so you could not read them. It was clearly incorrect. We questioned the bill were told it was correct and then got ignored. Thwe waiters were not happy to help out. We asked for a menu and again said it was wrong. No help from the waiters who were too busy trying to move people alongthe conveyor belt of customers. We eventually walked to the exit and had a go at the guy at the bar. He reluctantly looked at the bill and eventually agreed that none of the figures were correct. The charges were made up. This place is a rip off. What they are doing is illegal. Do not go to this restaurant. They spoilt our night. Watch the £2 cover charge and £4.50 service charge for no service.

Not a good experience. The food was OK, but the service was terrible. The waiters and even the manager are very rude. The couple behind us had a complaint about their food, and all they got was abuse. The woman then left in tears. This place also has a bizzarre method of compulsary double tipping. There's the 12.5% added to the bill, together with £1 per head table charge. Absolutely ridiculous.

Poor service, poor food, backs up the other reviews on other sites as well as this one!

Ordered the cheaper (only 21 pounds!) Chianti, only to find when the bill came we'd been given (and we'd drunk) the more expensive one. Portion size very small, bread stale, pizza soggy. Cheese for dessert was *very* dry and stale and when we complained we got abuse in Italian (I don't speak fluently but know a few words). It was also "no smoking day" but the staff were ignoring the folks lighting up everywhere. Overall - horrible and expensive.

Very slow service. Tables for 2 are packed tightly together. The waiters kept perving over my girlfriend. Food was expensive and not worth the money.

Very slow service, food i don`t eaven want to talk about it and price is not what I was expecting (expensive for the value) Really a shame, don`t go!!!!!
