Bombay Spice (Paddington St)

Sadly disappointed on our very first visit to this restaurant. Having ordered a vodka and tonic and a bottle of mineral water, we were charged a whopping £12.80 for drinks. Querying it, we were told that we had been brought 2 large vodkas, a mineral water and a tonic. We explained that that was not the case and, anyway, that wasn't what we asked for (my friend was driving so certainly didn't want, or get any alcohol), but were met only with downright rudeness. It's so lovely to see that this restaurant has revised the adage to "the customer is always wrong". We shan't be going back!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants that I have been to in all my life. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly. If anyone goes here I promise you that you will have an excellent time.

We went yesterday for the first time and, based on our experience, we recommend the place. The restaurant is cozy and intimate (I wouldn't go with a large group) and the service is good. The prices are also very reasonable. The food is very good but not excellent. There are better Indian restaurant in London but I don't know how many at this price.
