The Last

This gastropub is close to my work and is a favourite among colleagues for lunches and after work drinks. The food here is usually pretty good. There is a selection of fresh fish each day which is usually quite good. There are decent vegetarian options too. I have been a little disappointed with the steak at times. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wine list is extensive. The service can be a little hit and miss, but is usually acceptable.

This a top drawer place to eat, meet, greet, lunch or dinner. A true banker for service and excellent value fresh food. Seafood specials daily are always worth the surprise. Excellent deco, fine winesand service that's a cut above. If you are anywhere near this place give it a go, also excellent for booking leaving do's hence the name, perfect for sociable style and fine dining, not to be missed.

Excellent place....there should be more of them.

It's not rocket science, just nice fresh food, service with a smile, relaxed atmosphere, good wines by the glass, open kitchen and damn fine steaks.

Going back again today.
