Pizza Express (London Wall)

I went to this restaurant after work to meet a friend. I was surprised at how comfortable the waitress made me feel, I almost felt like I know her for years. The food was great, not what I would normally expect from a chain. I will definitely be back here.

The food here is similar to that at other Pizza Express outlets - satisfactory, but nothing to write home about. Despite the relatively generous staffing level at this branch, even in the evenings, service was surprisingly slow. The waitress was not impressed we asked for (tap) water. There is no need to pull a face when customers don't to wish pay inflated prices for H2O in a bottle. Just serve the customer & move on. As the customer, I am not interested in the serving staff's opinion of what I ask for, as long as my request is reasonable. We are in the middle of the worst economic recession for decades, after all.

There is not much atmosphere to speak of, this outlet is rather "cold".

I shall not go to this restaurant again, except as a last resort.
