Went there with 2 friends. We were sat in the basement floor, where there were laundry bags sitting everywhere (presumably filled with dirty tablecloths), also boxes stacked up behind the bar.... first impressions were not good. However, we thought this is a restaurant so lets rely on the food and service.
Our waiter told us there would be a "little wait" as they were having a busy night. So after ordering, we proceeded to wait over an hour.... (no apologies, or complimentary bread-basket, nothing!).... out pizza-starter arrived. Was very good, but after an hour of waiting for it, all enthusiasm has been lost.
Another 20 mins-half an hour, 2 of our 3 main courses arrive.....mediocre and dull. By the time the third arrives, its the wrong order and cold !!!
The joke of the evening became "Cannelloni on the rocks"..... we asked for the bill and summoned the manager, who was completely unapologetic. As far as we were concerned the service was appalling, the food mediocre and overall experience completely a waste of time. We refused to pay the service charge and we were told by the manager that we were being "rude"... we were completely shocked, especially since working in the customer service industry ourselves.
We weren't respected as paying customers, our complaint was not fully acknowledged and we left feeling like we wasted 2 hours of our life in an un-classy, unorganised and overall amateur establishment sitting in the heart of soho.
This restaurant obviously relies on passing tourist trade and has no concept of nurturing their customers so that they may return.
Although the establishment has an italian name and menu.... there is nothing italian about it. The staff and manager were not concerned with maintaining a high quality experience or service.
Please avoid at all costs !

Great food - if only they were able to serve you the food you have ordered, at the same time for everyone and not charge you for stuff you haven´t ordered... it is a shame because the food is quite good but... the rest is a disaster. Go everywhere - the food is not good enough to suffer them.

Eight of us visited this restaurant last night and the service was a disaster. They just couldny cope, we were told that we were very lucky that we were given a table as they were very busy. The fact that the table was booked at least a month ago was toatlly lost on them
The starters arrived haphazardly, 2 soups first, then, the tomato and mozzarella, next then a gap, followed by 2 prawn cocktails, another long gap and a mushroom dish finally arrived. The fact that another prawn cocktail was missing seemed to confuse, as was the lack of cutlery and bread. Never the less it got worse they were then unable to provide 2 penne dishes that had been ordered some while before ,these were changed and then the haphazard service continued. A wrong dish arrived, this was we were told was our fault. vegetables arrived before the mains, and finally one dish never arrived at all.
The management were totally incapable of understanding our plight and were almost unwilling to credit the bill with the missing main course as we were told we had refused the dish. We never saw the dish.
To be fair the food was better than average, The evening was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Go elsewhere.
