Quite simply the worst service I have ever received. The waiter was over-familiar in a cringeworthy way to begin with (He constantly adressed myself and others as his 'buddy'), and then at some point started singing badly whilst clearing places. When he noticed his wailing was obviously interrupting our conversation, he asked me 'Do you know that song, buddy?'. I told him I did not. Then he comes over to our table to collect the bill, whereby we had placed three cards for payment. He meant to ask us if we wanted it split three ways, but instead asked if we would like to 'pay three times'. We laughed and pointed out his mistake to him in an amicable way, and he chuckled and said yes, three times the bill would be ummm, err..ummm.. at which point my friend proffered the correct response of £158 something. He looks at my friend and says 'you think you are clever?' in an aggressive way. My friend, taken aback, says no, but I think three times the bill is £158 something. He says well let me tell you, you are not clever and walks away with our cards to work the machine. We finish paying up, and are walking out when he comes up to us and tells us that he made a mistake, and had undercharged us by 30p. Surely this is not normal service in any restaurant?

Food was average, but service was so appalling it spoilt any taste of the evening.

Great food, the BEST tandoori chicken in London! I have been coming here with my mates for years.

Waiters are always friendly and helpful .

Lovely fresh atmosphere with the new decor.

Visited evening of 23 October, following positive comments on this website. Maybe we were unlucky but I doubt it. Appalling food. Onion bhajees tired, reheated & tatseless, chicken & spinach bhalti disgusting : 3-4 pieces of chicken in black congealed mass. Waiter came out onto the street to persuade us in, 2 other tables only occupied, should have known better.

Went there on the Telegraph £5 menu.

I'm indian and so have had a lot of curries in my time, but I can honestly say this was one of the worst I have ever tasted!! It was bland, and watery and the portions were really small!!

They were trying to just get people in on the deal and hope they spent more on their full meal. The one good thing was the service. Very attentive and very friendly. Maybe at another restaurant it would have worked well with good food.
