Blades Restaurant

What a gem. It's rare to find an Italian restaurant with a grill in the middle, and the food that's cooked on it is delicious. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, vegetables which were served as a side we beautifully cooked. The starters are extremely tasty - but one word of warning, don't order the seafood linguini and expect to have room for a steak or something after it!

The chef who cooks in front of you is Italian, as is the waitress, which adds to the authenticity. Extremely friendly, he offered to put on any CD we asked for, even though we were the only couple left in the restaurant. He does seem to "sniffle" quite loudly though... if you're sitting on one of the tables near the grill, you'll know exactly what I mean!!!

Having recently returned from Brazil I have been reluctant to order a steak in a London Restaurant as I had become so used to the quality of their meats.

I decided to try a Filet steak at Blades and was absolutely delighted with my meal. I like Rae steak and it was done superbly. My partner had clams and she was extremely happy with her choice. The anbiance and the attentive staff were all vbery good and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Will definitely visit again.
