Blue Check Restaurant

We had a party at the Blue Check in July 2007 for 80 guests who all enjoyed the food and service enormously. All the staff at the Blue Check worked hard to ensure our daughter's party was a great success. For choice and quality of food and value for money we think there is none better. We will be making a reservation soon for an anniversary dinner and are already looking forward to it!

I first went to Blue Check in Bushey, four years ago and I always look forward to going there.

I have never experienced anything less than 100% of anything; delicious and well-presented food, professional service and the utmost of courtesy. Conditions permitting, they will do the utmost to ensure that their patrons have an enjoyable dining experience.

What is also good is that most of the staff who first served me four years ago, are still at the restaurant.

Whether it is your first visit or your umpteenth, going to Blue Check is like going for dinner at friends, which is why there are so many returning customers.

Personally, I can't fault the restaurant but if I did experience anything I wasn't happy with, I would have a quiet word with the owner.

I totally disagree with Mrs Braverman's review, I recently had a birthday party on a Thursday night at the Blue Check Restaurant with 17 guests. As a Thursday is a Frank Sinatra night we all enjoyed our meal and entertainment. We found the staff helpful and very polite and there was a beautiful atmosphere with everyone dancing by the end of the night. I have been going to the Blue Check since it first opened and have many friends who do aswell and highly recommend it.

I had a 50th birthday party last night with 20 guests. They were not happy that they had to reduce the booking the day before. Consequently when we arrived we were placed on two tables and I had to switch between tables to talk to my friends. The food was delicious but very SLOW. it took 3 hours to be served 3 courses. One meal had to be sent back as the canelloni was cold in the middle (obviously heated up in a microwave). Balloons were meant to be provided but were conspicious by their absence. The general attitude of the staff was that they could care less.
