Creation Restaurant and Bar

We went here on my wifes birthday and had a Fab night out!

The food was delicious and the portions were quite substantial - an especially great place if you are a meat lover with a big appetite, like me!

I had the salmon as a starter followed by the sea bass - both yummy, especially the salmon. My wife had the the chicken and Brown bread icecream (divine), if the contented noises and lack of conversation were anything to go by, these were thoroughly enjoyed.

The service was great! Efficient, friendly and not in your face! We really liked the decor, but this isn't the place for a really romantic evening - the tables are quite close together; although being a Monday night, it wasn't very busy so intimate conversation was still possible! If anything, if there had been any fewer diners it would have been too empty.

We ate here as part of a special offer, however we had a lovely time and we will be returning, even if it means paying full price!

The food was uninspiring, the room a little too clinical for my liking. The service was pretty bad for this price bracket. We were asked three times if our starter was ok. Our coats were taken, but unceremoniously dumped on a nearby chair. The waiting staff insisted on interrupting our conversation at every opportunity. They also did the hard-sell on us, trying to get us to order deserts and after-dinner drinks when we ordered our food. The main course was described as coming with vegetables, so we didn't order extra - when the main arrived the portions were very small, so we ordered extra side dishes which were excessive in size - our main course was initially too small, but then far too big. For £70 for two people (no wine!) there are far better places to go, save your money and have a great meal elsewhere.

I sent some clients of mine for a theatre break and as a parkt of the package that they had they were entitled to a 2 course light pre theatre meal. I honestly expected some sort of complaint however my clients really enjoyed their meal and thought that Creation was a really lovely place to eat. Well recommended. Staff were very helpful, speedy and attentive. I'll definately be making more bookings here!

My wife and I had a pre theatre 2 course meal here for her birthday and was pleasantly suprised, service was excellent and the staff were very polite and proffesional. The food was superb and very well presented. thoroughly recommended

quite a posh restaurant but excellent location for theatre trips. comfy seats, good lighting and nice decor.

food very tasty and filling.

the (table d'hote) menu didnt have a lot of options and only one veggie choice but they were interesting dishes- different to a lot of other restaurants.

the night i went, there were only four other parties dining so the waiting staff were able to be very attentive and service was excellent.

food took a while to arrive between courses though which almost made me late for the musical i was seeing but that is the only complaint i have for this restaurant.

Modern and Sophisticated this restaurant had a fresh new appeal too it.

In a great location ideal for a Pre Theatre dinner.

The menu was simple yet inviting with choice including Vegetarian option, and desserts to die for....

Great presentation and Service with a smile...
