El Metro II

I wouldn't exactly call it a Spanish restaurant, more a Spanish theme bar. The music contrived to be simultaneously deafening and cheesy, which is quite an achievement. The tapas were ok as was the wine - and there were plenty of both. I can't imagine a restaurant being 'insulting' - the earlier poster really needs to take a chill pill. The only insults Ive seen was the anti-English graffiti in the toilets a few years back.
Niggles: the aforementioned music, also the bill being badly handled and printed so small that it was all but illegible in the half light of the bar. Still, we danced and drank and ate and that is what you need.

I've been going to El Metro for a number of years now, all thanks to my sister. The atmosphere is great, staff welcome you in and feel like you're having dinner with the family! Value for money and occasionally free shots always go down well amongst the ladies! Music in the evenings is fantastic and gets everyone up and dancing. Even better when you stumble out and are able to get a train or bus back home.

As a Spanish person I find this place and its food insulting... Bad food, a horrible mixture that they dared call Sangria and loud pre school disco teenagers trying to get very drunk on whatever kind of drink was put in front of them.
My advice, don't go there!
