Just went here yesterday (29th July 07). After checking out 2 italian restaurants that were absoulutely packed we decided to visit here, we were a bit worried as it was not that packed but at least it had more people than some other places in edgware.

When we first walked in, service was quite poor. Ignore by lady at the bar on the phone and had to look for a member of staff to get seated. Again, after being seated the staff were not very polite. Not particulary rude, but not polite either.

However, as the evening went on it all changed and the staff seemed to get to grip with it. Starters were fantastic and the main was OK. Seemed pretty pricey though, 47 pounds for 2 starters, 4 pints and 1 main.

I love Haandi and have never had a problem with the service. The food is delicious - fresh, authentic with a mix of old favourites and more unusual dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and it also has a fabulous fish tank. I've taken visitors here several times and everyone has loved it. Prices are reasonable too.

Well what can i say about Haandi, Very nice place to have food. But very bad service. Between starters and main course we had to wait an hour for this. When the main course did come out there was nothing else which came with it...e.g. naan,rice etc this is what we ordered together, By that time the food was going cold.

This restaurant has a very nice theme and style to it. However i have never experienced such bad service. There was not enough waiters for the amount of people/tables. We waited almost 1.5 hrs for are starters, and was just ignored by passing by waiters.

Definetly a place NOT to go to.

ITS HERE ITS FINALLY HERE...The indian restaurant that makes it all in front of you!!! What fantastic food and service. First time ive been and been there several times striaght after. Quality I must say. Hats off to all the team what a grand job. Not to mention they have one in Knightsbridge to. Its got to be tried ***** 5 stars all the way.

Excellent food. Me, wife and friends had a take away from this place. My last visit to the Handi resturant was in Kenya, nairobi and altough not to the standard in Kenya it certainly comes close. Much better then your standard local Indian establishment and I'd recommend it to any who like indian. The veggie dishes are very good and you can't go wrong at this place give it a try.

My wife and I had an excellent evening here. The food was as good aother reviewershave said and the service much better, in fact first class. The new manager coming from Dubai/Bahrain could not have done more for us. The prices are reasonable fort his part of London and the view of the chefs makes for something quite different from the average Indian here. We'll be going again
