Went to Daises for Valentines and will definately being going back again.

From the time me and my boyfriend sat down and were welcomed with a tube of Love Heart sweets (they still do them!), to a gorgeous chocolate fondue to finish, we had such a lovely time. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and SO SO SO tasty food.

I go to this place regularly - at least once a week - and never fail to be impressed with the range and quality of the food.

Good food, nice staff, great beer - what more could you ask for!!! Go for the DADDY burger - its the best!!

Live locally and have only visited once. Admittedly it was early evening but there was NO atmosphere...staff very pleasant, menu is very enticing but the actual food served does not live up to expectation. Very average and therefore overpriced.

Great food. Friendly service. Fun atmosphere.

Only negative is that it's not within walking distance of my flat and I have to drive there all the time!

Chips were cold, salad was turning brown and my plate was covered in a runny coleslaw sauce which made the burger bun soggy - lovely!

Was very much looking forward to my meal here as it had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff but poor food has put me off ever coming here again.

This is my favourite restaurant ever. It's the perfect place to go with friends, family, my boyfriend and is child friendly too! The service and food are both great, and the atmosphere is perfect, not to mention the good music they play!!! 10 out of ten for me! Did i mention how good the food is . . . yum yum yummmmmm!!!!

First time to this restaurant and will not be the last.

Sunday lunch - we had a booking for 6 - and the place was packed to the rafters but service was friendly and speedy and the food was stunning.

So much choice had trouble deciding. Finally (after much debate on the table) went for the vegetarian breakfast combo which had enough food for a couple of visits! My friends went for the English Breakfast, which was even bigger!, the American combo and the rest went for the daisy burgers. Being a non-meat eater couldn't sample theirs but apparently theirs were great too.

The alcoholic shakes were the best cocktails I've had in ages (and I'm quite an expert!) and the only complaint was that we were too full to try the Ice Cream Sundaes we saw being taken to other tables. They'll be first on my order next time!

I've never posted a review on one of these websites before but decided i had to after my first visit to this place at the weekend.

Overall: Totally superb!!

The Cobb Salad i had was probably the best salad i have ever had, the 'skin-on' fries were tops too and the huge dark chocolate fondue with fruit and mashmallows to finish just can not be beaten!

They have Celebrity "rejection" letters from peole they have invited to the restaurant on the wall that are so funny to read and everything else - from the menus to Fawlty Towers played in the toilets - has a similar fun feel about it.

My friends and me had the best time. We all loved the food, friendly service from a cute waiter, great atmosphere and good value too! We will definately be returning soon and would not hesitate to recommend it to other readers.

I eat there regularly and love the place, I've never had bad food there and have taken many friends there who also now love the place. I think its great that kids go out the back so the front remains fairly calm. I agree with the comments about the slow service, I've often had to go and find a waiter when I want to pay, even when the place isn't busy, but they are never rude.

This must be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever experienced.

The welcome? What welcome?.

The service? Practically non-existent.

The drinks? Never did arrive.

The food? We were served somebody elses dishes, but we'd been waiting so long for ours, we kept quiet about it. The quality was average at best.

The atmosphere? I don't expect to have someone's snotty-nosed little brat trying to steal food from our table to the amusement of it's parents.

The conclusion? Avoid.
