My wife had the lamb and I had the rib-eye steak, both cooked to perfection although the portions could have been slightly larger, especially the veg go withers. The service was faultless and very friendly. With 2 main courses, 2 sweets, 1 bottle of wine, 2 spirits with mixers the bill came to about £79 which included a 10% service charge. Altogether a very nice evening followed by a short ride in the to lift to our room.

Excellent service and great food. It should be more than a 2 rosette. Thrilled by amazing a la carte menu and so many choices in the food. Service staff is excellent and always anticipating your need.

This was without a doubt the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Having found this on toptable and being a convenient location for our guest we dutifully booked, convinced by the AA rosette. I struggle to keep this review to only 200 words. We waited 50 minutes for our food. When this arrived the first thing I noticed was ****************** a piece of rocket on my salad. I alerted a waiter to this who smiled and took it away. Looking at our main it was as if we were the three bears. My two companions had steaks in Daddy bear and Mummy bear proportions, whist my sea bass was lost on the large white plate being only 3” square. The steaks were not cooked as requested, the first, ordered rare was actually well and truly charcoaled. After the first taste we realised our dishes were all cold. When we finally got the managers attention we complained. She retuned from the kitchen and apologised, telling us we would all have to have sea bream as this was the quickest thing for the chef to cook. We asked for what we had already ordered again. The resulting meal was satisfactory. Then came the bill, which the waiter duly set down, at the full cost. After another 10 minutes the manager apologised and gave us the second bill, this one with 50% off the food. Still disgruntled at having to pay for this debacle we grudgingly agreed to pay after she took one of the dishes off. All I can say is I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
