Went there last Sunday wanting to try out the American BBQ. The pulled pork and spare ribs were pretty dry and tasteless. The only thing that tasted good was the bbq sauce they had (which I was told to put all over the meat so it wouldn't taste as dry). The burnt ends weren't much better. It also tasted dry and tasteless apart from the lavishings of sauce placed on it. The chips and coleslaw were ok. Having said that the desserts were much better and worth trying out.

Trying to get the waiters attention were pretty hard since there were 5 or 6 of them and it wasn't busy when we were there.

Overall disappointed main course (my main reason for going) and for the price that I paid for, definitely was not worth it.

Amazing, I've never been so full in my life and wanted to carry on eating... Food was 10 out of 10. The service was adequate. Atmosphere was nice, reminded me of being back in the states!

If you haven't been yet you are missing OUT!

The food was cold, bland and the chips were VERY salty. Only stayed there because we were short of time and needed food. Everything bar the burgers is seriously over-priced. £1.85 for a can of Pepsi and £6.95 for 3 king prawns? That's over £2 a prawn! The nacho-style cheese smeared over the burrito was sickening, as was the gelatinous gloop of refried beans that came with it. The ribs were a huge disappointment for a supposed BBQ smokehouse. Neither BBQ-y nor smokey. Bland, bland, bland.

Sorry to say I completely disagree with other comments. I don't know what has happened to the place since other reviews were written, but i had an amazing evening!

The girl on the door was lovely, yeah there was a 20 minute wait for a table on a Wednesday evening, but for this to be the case, they must be doing something right!

My waiter was amazing, he knew everything about the menu and kept the drinks flowing!

The food was amazing! I tasted the best ribs I have ever tasted!

I for one do not have a single complaint about this place! I would definitely go back, time and time again!

I love this place, its a great restaurant and every time I have went there, on a Tuesday evening or a Saturday morning it is always full of people. People who like a good atmosphere and good food with outstanding service this is for you! It is relaxing yet buzzing and busy!! I love the staff, they all have great sense of fun, and work really well under extreme pressure at times!! I have nothing bad to say about this place and only main thing I want to say to the Bodean's Crew is keep up the great work,,,,, we all love you!!!

Thumbs up for the pulled pork sandwich. Ribs were pretty tasty, good idea having paper towels on the table since yeah, the service isn't awesome. Have been a few times and always thought it was tasty.

Fatty meat, thin ribs, abysmal door staff. They need to spend a few extra pounds and hire someone over 18 who knows how to seat tables of four. Avoid this much over-hyped facsimile and head to Cattle Grid next to Balham station. It's like night and day.
