your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
I took someone very dear to me to the Artisan on Monday night for a special occasion, having scanned the main restaurant review sites for a place that would guarantee quality. Thankfully it did just that. From the decor to the service, every aspect of the restaurant oozed class but never felt pretentious, perfect for an evening out after a day's work. We stayed for over 3 hours and not at any point did we feel rushed or hounded by the waiters, despite the room packing up as the evening went on. The 3 course meal contained dishes that were solid if not spectacular, but it was the assortment of canapés along the way that made the experience unique. Personal highlights included the tomato milkshake and the goat cheese on white chocolate lollipop, the simplicity of the ingredients making the results all the more impressive. For a memorable night with someone you really care about you can’t go wrong here.

Amazing food and service, and value! Booked table for two at late notice for Saturday night, and there was no air of rushedness or neglect despite how busy it was or the fact that we went for the cheap deal (£30, 3 courses & glass of champagne). The nibbles and pre-courses were first class, and in all gave the impression of a tasting menu that would normally have been at least twice the price.
Book the deal here as soon as you can, you will not be disappointed!

My second time here for lunch and everything was as good as before. This time we were a table of 8 for Sunday lunch and the staff looked after us very well.
As I said on my previous review the food is very good with plenty of choice on the set menu and they were still dishing out canapes, amouches, pre desserts and the like all through the meal. At £25 for 3 courses this is a real steal. The restaurant was a lot busier this time and the place felt less like a hotel dinning room.
At just over £400 for 8 people including 4 bottles of wine, water and coffee, this place is great value for money for Mayfair.
