Sopranos

Our hotel was near this restaurant and we took a chance and went there. To us it seemed a little small inside but the food was good and staff friendly. I would eat there again. it was a little pricey but this in London.

Although the staff was very friendly (funny too), I wouldn't go there to eat anymore.

The food was plain and boring, not one bit of it was interesting. We got the wrong menu at first and had to ask for the correct one. The service was mediate, they were quite slow on getting us somewhat to drink.

It was affordable, but you won't get any value for money, I'd reckon.

We went to Sopranos last weekend and we had a fabulos evening .

Great food and wine list , exellent service .

Highly recomend this restaurant.

The prices are very cheap and the food is ok. Nothing special and the sauces are a bit bland, but the staff are nice and friendly.

Good wholesome rustic Italian food served with a smile and incidently the best pizza I've ever tasted. I'm sure we'll be coming back.

My friend and i were in London for the daay recently, and thought we would take advantage of the offer in the Telegraph, and as i had read good reports about this restaurant, we were looking forward to it very much.

I was disappointed with the overall look of the restaurant, but as the reports said the food was good - it did not matter.

Unfortunatly the food was average, and we got our main course before the starters arrived. When our Main dishes did arrive, it was obvious they had been kept warm on a hotplate, and were quite dry. We were very disappointed with the food and the service was appalling, maybe they should not take part in the promotion again, as it was obvious they thought we were second rate customers !! 4 out of ten - for location.

My Uni Mountaineering club held our Christmas social at Sopranos. We ate downstairs in the Piano Bar where the atmosphere was great, cosy and intimate, and Jason provided superb music and chat all night. The starters were well presented and tasty, however my main course vegetarian meal arrived only after everybody else had been served their non vegetarian mains, and was a mediocre lasagne, not what I'd expect from an Italian restaurant. It was overall an enjoyable night, but more because of the ambience and the entertainment than the dining.
