Went to Fakhreldine for a special meal and was bitterly disappointed. The food was not bad but distinctly average and horrifically overpriced for the quality and quantity. Steer well clear of the wine which is also heinously overpriced and tasted like something cheap and not very cheerful. To top it off we were left waiting to order, to receive our main courses and to pay. Although the staff were civil, they were far from welcoming. I will definitely not be going back!

I would like to review the restaurant as being really up to the expected standards.
We had a party of 12 and a hostess sitted us just right next to the widow. We chose to have Menu 8, which consisted of variety of exotic starters, main courses to share and lovely dessert with tea. I do not know what is the name of that particular starter but I just loved it - it was something like a cheese parcel. Overall recommended to everyone, very very nice.

We have travelled a long way to visit this great restaurant and have been not disappointed. To start with, the decor is absolutely gorgeous, service staff is very welcoming and polite, we had an amazing table by the window, and we were served quickly and professionally. We ordered two lamb shanks and lots of Mezze to share, the quality of food was so great, fresh and mouth-watering. I am sure I will come back for more and more, Thank you

I bought a voucher worth £40 pounds from Groupon for £16 and booked it for a Friday night. Unfortunately, I forgot to have a look at the reviews before doing so!
Upon arrival, we were seated at the bar whilst we waited for a table, even though we were booked for a specific time. Unexpected - I have never had to wait for a booked table. Nevertheless, we had some lovely cocktails and it took around 20 minutes for our table to be ready.
The restaurant itself is in a very nice location, with nice views over Green Park (if you sit at the window). When we opened the menu, however, it was a different story. The mezze menu was over £30 per person, even though the portions were tiny compared to what you would expect at that price. Luckily, we noticed these dishes on the tables next to us and instead ordered hummus and calamari for starters and two main courses from the grill.
We we served quickly and everyone was friendly. When the dishes came, they were tasty, but in no way worth the money. I have once been to a tiny local restaurant which served dishes twice the size but at a quarter of the price. It's simply not worth it.
This restaurant appears to price itself based largely on its location, rather than quality and quantity. If you are after a hearty meal at a reasonable price, I suggest you look elsewhere.

we booked via toptable for the £14 meal. apart from a lovely view from the restaurant, there is not much more on the positive front you could comment on.
the staff flapped around to find the menu for the £14 offer, they had just given us the normal menu which confused us.
The £14 option is a fixed meal, you have no say on what you are eating, and when it arrived there was no introduction to what was on each plate - it was a case of taste it and see if you liked it!
i was outraged when i was presented with the bill, and they had charged me £4 for a can of sprite. i litterally had a can of sprite on my table with a glass with ice. how on earth can they get away with charging £4 for a can?
thankfully the food was tasty

My boyfriend and I ate an extremely mediocre meal at Fakhreldine last night. The first of our disappointments was the Falafel starter - it was rock solid on the outside, extremely dry on the inside and severely lacking any kind of flavour. I have never tasted anything so undeserving of its hefty price-tag. After a prolonged wait of 25 minutes, our main courses arrived, with no apology for the long wait or warning of this beforehand.
The Musakaa arrived as a pile of slop on a plate juxtaposed with a small mountain of rice. The slop contained just three small pieces of meat covered in fat. Highly unappetising and an extremely heavy meal.
The Shish Taouk (grilled marinated chicken cubes) was also poor. Although the chicken was tender with a welcoming gentle flavour, I am surprised the dish was listed under the Mains. A large plate lacking coverage, with three sorry looking skewers and not a lot else was just not worth £19.50 - I am disgusted that they would charge so much for this hugely bare, dissatisfying dish!
Also - £4.50 for the Rose Lemonade which may as well be re-named as Glass of Pink Crushed Ice.
The restaurant itself looks lavish on the inside, and if you have a window seat you get a great view a busy London street down below. However, the location and views really aren't enough when the food is just so dire.

We found a £40 voucher on groupon for Fakreldine (bought for £16) so thought, brilliant, a nice cheap evening meal - how wrong we were. Even with a £40 voucher we still had to pay a further £35 on top - you'd think we ordered a lot of food - wrong again! Probably the most over priced restaurant we've ever been to. The food was nice but the portion sizes were really small and at £7-£8 definitely not worth it. We left still feeling hungry and completely robbed!
Would definetely never go again!

Where to begin? We visited this restaurant on Friday night and were informed that as there were 11 of us in our party, we all had to go for a Set Menu. Odd as this sounded, we were still happy to do so, and said Okay. We were then informed that all 11 of us had to eat the same Set Menu. So, I could not eat Set Menu 1, whilst the person next to me ate Set Menu 2.
We were, quite frankly, outraged at the way we were being forced to eat what they basically wanted us to eat. The manner in which we were spoken to by the employee was rude and disrespectful, he was basically telling our party that we could take it or leave it. He refused to answer any of our questions and said "This is how it is". We then asked if we could speak to the Manager. He said "I am the Manager".
By this point, we were all so fed up, we said 'Fine, lets just be seated and be done with'. We were then directed, not to a normal table and chairs, but to the lounge area reserved for smoking shisha, in seats so low that we all had our knees hitting our chins, with six of us at one end, and five at the other. We could not even hear each other from the opposite sides of the lounge area. My friend asked another waiter "Is this a dining area or lounge area?" He simply replied "The lounge area".
We didn't hesitate to leave when we heard this, and on our way out, we asked for the details of the owner so that we could write a letter of complaint. I said to the 'Manager' " Your customer service is atrocious for a Manager". He then replied, " I am not the Manager". At this point we were all quite incensed, and I stated that I would simply mention the middle aged man who had no manners. A young lady stormed out from the back and said " Excuse me Madam, do not talk to my Manager like that!".
They couldn't even be honest about the guy's position! Surely if he was in the right, he wouldnt have had any need to lie, and they would have been OPEN about his details and the owner's details.
After booking a table for 11, we expected proper tables and chairs, and 5* service with it being such an expensive restaurant in London. Sorely disappointed, we left for Noura, a short drive away, and my God they treated us like ROYALTY. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and they even parked our cars for us. Don't touch Fakhreldine with a bargepole!
