The Langley

Went to the Langley for my birthday back in September and eveything was perfect. Good correspondence by email before the date, food was good, staff really looked after us, we booked the 'party' package which was excellent value for money. There was no pressure for us to move from our table when we had finished eating to our reserved seating area in the bar, was all very chilled, lovely time, would definitely do a party booking there again, fab.

I can't believe people have rated this restaurant as good! You'd have to be absolutely totally battered to appreciate this venue.

I went with a group of people recently. The venue smells like toilets. The table I had my drinks on was dirty. It was sticky and horrible.

The ambience was lack lustre. The food was mediocre. The steak was tough. The staff weren't rude, but they weren't attentive/friendly. What annoyed me, was that they were clearing plates and things while people in the group were still eating. And not once, did the waiters ask if we needed anything else.

Went to The Langley for our work Christmas night out back in December and since then I have celebrated my birthday and a friends hen night there. The venue is great, plenty of area's of all sizes available to reserve, great value drinks (50% cheaper when happy hour is on) and good variety of bar snacks to chose from. Haven't sampled the a la carte menu yet, but there are definitely a few dishes on there I want to try!

Myself and my partner visited the Langley last Friday and we had a fab time! Great value for money - plus the staff were very helpful. Its also nice because there is a big bar to have a drink in before / after. We would come back in a flash! Just make sure to always book a table - especially for the weekends as it gets very busy!

It is too loud! I can hardly talk to my friend when dined there last night. The food was ok - it seems that the Chicken Fajita was very popular. But I do not think this is a place for a high standard meal. It is literally a club/bar.
