A group of 8 dined at Tiger Tiger on a Thursday night. We enjoyed the hip yet unpretentious atmosphere of the place.
The food was average but with the 50% off offer we weren't too worried. 4 people at the table had steak which they all agreed was edible but nothing special. I had the salmon which was delicious and cooked perfectly. We couldn't fit in dessert due to drinking too much during the generous happy hour (5 to 8pm.)
The only quibble I would have is that 3 main dishes were not available that night and we were only told this as we were about to order. We would have preferred to have been told this from the start before we made our choices.

We went to Tiger Tiger on Saturday night for a mate's birthday dinner and it was the best night EVER!!! We were quite a large group so we were given the set menu. Normally, that would mean that you have to choose from a small selection of sub-standard dishes. Not true at Tiger Tiger! We had the choice of several starters, mains, and desserts. The size of their set menu is the size of many other restaurants' main menu.
The food arrived promptly and tasted fabulous. I had the breaded goats cheese for a starter and the chicken katsu curry for a main course. The curry was better than the one at Wagamama's! I didn't think that I'd have room for dessert but I managed to squeeze a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding in.
Our waiter was lovely and very attentive. We were on a mission to get as drunk as possible and our waiter helped us in every way he could. He even made sure that we took full advantage of the Happy Hour. We could have easily stayed in the restaurant for the rest of the evening but the dancefloor called!
The rest of the night is a bit hazy but all of us reckon that it was the best night out we've had in a long time. Most definitely going back!

I went for my Birthday with a table booked for 10 for dinner and another table booked for staying all night, but was quite shocked by the terrible service or lack of it.
I have never quite experienced anything that bad before anywhere. I arrived early with a few friends and since the table was free and waiting just for us we got the OK to sit down early. However, the waiter didn't seem to be aware of this although the table was only half full and he kept lurking round the table constantly making you feel guilty for not ordering food. We ordered plenty of drinks but of course were waiting to order food untill all had arrived. as soon as the food arrived our waiter or no one else were hardly to be seen anywhere, which was just the time where you needed them to get more drinks or condiments etc. Waiter after waiter would directly ignore your call for them. The worst thing was that it wasn't very busy either. One waiter when he brought over a plate and when I asked him for salt and ketchup, he turned his back to me whilst mumbling that someone else could get that for me and walked off. Another time when trying to get the attention of a waiter before all food went cold I gave a little wave, whereto he just waved back at me and was never seen again. Another time I asked over a waiter telling her that I she was now the 3rd waiter to be asked to get a menu for us, so please could we have one. Instead of quickly getting one since we had already been waiting so long she just continued to lay up new tables.
I can go on and on about how awful the service was, but to top it all off the waiter was then being very rude about us omitting the service charge, accusing us for underpaying the bill etc.
All of this was raised to a lady who claimed to be one of the managers, although, I could have saved my breath. Although, she apologised, she repeatedly insisted that the waiter had not been rude when he kept insisting we had underpaid the bill and in the end pointing out quite rudely that we were not paying service charge. We would happily have paid service charge had we received a service.
One dinner was undercooked too.
In addition we were not offered the full menu and were only given the limited choice from the set menu. I specifically choose your place after having looked at your menu online, as I wanted a place with a fair choice in all aspects. Arriving to the limited set menu without getting another menu offered I assumed that perhaps this was all that was on offer that night, but later after having ordered we saw all other guests sitting with a different menu to ours. I wanted a place where my guests could order anything and in any way they wanted -whether 1 or 3 courses, but I was not given that choice although alll other guests were; so I can only assume the set menu was given to us to ensure a certain minimum spending, which is unprofessional. All together we spent plenty through out the night.

We went to Tiger Tiger for our staff christmas party this year ,and I can quite honestly say that it was the worst christmas party we have had.
The food was lacking tast, wasn't cooked properly - had to send well done steak back 3 times before it was anyway near medium to well done... Food was cold, as we had to wait a good 6-7 mins before potatoes and veg to come out to go with the already cold turkey.. even then the carrotts were hard (and cold) as bulliets..
We purchased Vouchers to make buying drinks at the bar easier... After arguments with bar staff that we could us the vouchers at the downstairs bar ,we finially got drinks - 15 mins after trying to place order..
All in all not a good evening. I had never been to Tiger Tiger before and I dont think I will be going back agian either..

Myself and 15 friends ate, drank and became very merry at tiger tiger for a friends birthday recently. I have to say that i have drank in the bar before and wasnt expecting the £9.99 three course meal to be up to much, but i was very pleasantly surprised. The service was good considering it was a very busy friday night and we were a large group, the food was very nice. The choice was good and for what we were paying, the dishes were spot on. Not one of our party had a complaint. It was also a bonus that you have the nightlife right under the one roof, so you can eat, then drink and dance without having to round up your group and trawl the streets deciding where to go next. I highly recommend this for a good all-round night out particularly for groups.

Went there last weekend. I thought the food was quite good - but service was a bit slow. Having said that, the restaurant was packed with hen parties.
Interesting to eat with loud music playing in the background.

Went on a Fri nite and it was fine. Get there early for happy hour and head for the blue bar for a chilled one. Nice atmosphere. Don't recall much eye-candy but then I was with the missus! U chance wherever U go - on this occasion, no complaints and I'd go again.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon with 5 friends. The service was terrible. The waitress was extremely unfriendly. Some of us did not have a complete cutlery set and when we asked for it, she brought it very slowly and not even all the missing ones at the same time while my friends already had their dishes in front of them. Another friend got her glass of wine after she had finished her meal. When we got the bill we did not pay the optional added service charge. She came back and said we hadn't paid the whole amount. My partner said we did, the service charge was optional and we weren't happy with the service beause of...He phrased it very politely. While he was in the middle of mentioning some points she walked off. She did not even let him finish his sentence. Extremely rude.
The food was plain but good. It was reasonnably priced. The atmosphere wasn't particularly great, the phone was constantly ringing and the girl standing next to it did not even bother picking it up. It was quite uncomfortably cold there too.
I don't recommend going there at all.

I recently went to the famous Tiger Tiger for a Leaving do - August 2006.
When I went in there, the place looked snazzy and quite lively. However, the drinks were extremely pricy.
An incident happened where a friend queried a bill, which was very expensive... on reviewing the reciept they had added 2-3 additional drinks to the bill. In querying this mistake by the staff and attempting to resolve the situation, the barman did not want to know and click his fingers and had us thrown out - accusing us of being agressive. I am utterly gobsmacked at the treatment of the bar staff, for what, querying "THEIR" mistake.
I will never again return to this place. All I can advise if you are going to try this bar, check your bill and money. Although beware, if the bill is wrong, get ready to be thrown out!!!

Some mates and I went to Tiger Tiger for a birthday party. We had dinner in the restaurant first - great atmosphere, great service, great food. Our waiter kept us laughing all night! Then, we went through to the other bars. The club downstairs was pumping! We danced the night away. Definitely going back again and again and again.......
