Vito's

My girlfriend and I are have just come back from Vito's. We both had Scallops with chilli and garlic which was lovely , and as a main meal she had Spaghetti with lobster and I had a pizza .
Well to be honest ,the starter was good but 9 quid for 3 small pieces of scallops and 11 quid for a pizza which was drenched in olive oil was way over priced.
Yes the service was good and friendly but it doesn't justify the bill - a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine for 70 quid YES IT IS OVER PRICED.

me and my boyfriend come in here probably once a week!! we love it. the food is brilliant and not overpriced. they serve draught peroni. the staff are excellent and the service always with a smile.
the pizza's are delicious and leave us wanting to come back the next night for more. they do a really gorgeous version of bolognase, made with chunks of beef and a slightly spicy sauce which is to die for. if ever we have friends up this is where we'll take them.
they do a sunday roast which has all sorts of italian bits to start with, all tried and tested and as much as you can eat. then the roast you have 4 choices, of which you can have a piece of each, with plenty of veg - of which you can have as much as you like. and then for dessert the most wonderful tiramasu which is also as much as you can eat. i have only managed 2 helpings of each so far but for £14.95 you can't complain at all!!
i would recommend this to anyone. it also has a bar next door with really comfy sofa seating downstairs and loads of room. can be hired for private functions too.
5* all round if you ask me!!

This is definitely my favourite Italian in London. Really good food, relaxed atmosphere but impeccable service.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in the area (believe me, it's better than Numero Uno). The food is authentic and the service is extremely friendly and professional. At Vito's attention to detail (good cutlery, crisp linen napkins, etc.) is clearly very important and you get the impression that the staff take genuine pride in what they do. Considering the quality of what is on offer, the price is reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, good service, good atmosphere. As a previous reviewer, we've just moved in round the corner and will become regulars here. There's a friendly bar at the front, and quiet a large split up dining area out the back. The decor and ambience is friendly as is the service. The food is typically traditional Italian. There's no attempt to 'fuse' it with asian or south american or antarctic food, it's just what you'd expect from good Italian food, done pretty well. Wine list is good, but house red is excellent anyway - usually a mark of a good eatery in my book - and draft Peroni is a good touch too!
