Enough is enough with this place. It's local and it looks good but we will give it the benefit of the doubt no more. A lunch for six of us on Good Friday was a farce. Food came missing components - for instance, a sandwich billed as containing goat's cheese, avocado and red pepper consisted only of goat's cheese...and rocket. No apology made until we noticed most of what was supposed to be there was missing. Some avocado (very brown) was brought on a plate, but the red pepper couldn't be supplied 'because it is Good Friday and the delivery didn't arrive'. In the middle of London?! On Uxbridge Road where huge middle eastern groceries are ten a penny?!?!? The kids' lunch of sausage and chips came with no gravy, as advertised - 'we thought you wouldn't want it'. The mind boggles. And yet the cherry on the cake was the utterly miserable waitress, incapable of cracking a smile at any point. Indeed, as has been noted elsewhere, the staff here are easily the most miserable lot I have ever encountered. You can't even pop in for a coffee without needing therapy as soon as you leave. AVOID!!
